A recent concert didn't fare too well: (scroll down) omg.yahoo.com/news/taylor-swift-the-latest-musician-to-cancel-summer-concerts/66662"Amy Winehouse Amy Winehouse showed that her stint in rehab didn't do much to help her problem. The "Rehab" soul singer showed up under the influence at a concert in Serbia and gave an abysmal performance. Winehouse, 27, stumbled around the stage, forgot the lyrics to songs and gave a horribly off-key performance of her song "Back to Black." Fans booed the singer and some left early, according to reports. Her management ultimately decided to scrap the entire tour. "[Winehouse] feels that this is the right thing to do," her rep wrote in a statement. "Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home." Smart move. "

My word--another member joins the "27 Club". Sadly, we can add Amy Winehouse to the list that includes among others: Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain... And James Paul McCartney. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/27_Club

Wiki "Some lists include other musicians who died at age 27.[10] Cobain and Hendrix biographer Charles R. Cross writes, "The number of musicians who died at 27 is truly remarkable by any standard. [Although] humans die regularly at all ages, there is a statistical spike for musicians who die at 27."[10]"
It is weird.

I've posted about this before, but apparently not here. In astrology, the "Saturn return year" is the year Saturn returns to the position it had in the year of a person's birth. (Saturn taking from 27 to 30 years to complete its orbit.) Saturn is considered the disciplinarian planet in a person's chart. If you are off course for the purpose for which you were born, Saturn nudges you (or grabs you by the collar) and puts you back to where you once belonged. This can manifest in a bit of upheaval in one's life between the ages of 26 through 31. If a person has gone so far off the track as to be unable to complete their life's mission, death can come in, allowing the soul to reschedule a life where-in the purpose can be met. Which is not to say that there aren't unscrupulous types who might not take advantage of the 27 year cycle to "cash in" on their musical property. But it can be a rough time either way. more here:Saturn return - wikipedia

I don't think I'll ever forget...
The day before Kirk Cobain died, I was walking around the downtown of my hometown. Two girls walked out of a record and novelty store holding up a Nirvana poster that they just bought.
Can you imagine?
I always wondered how those girls felt the next day when they heard the news...

" 27... is... a promise of authority, power, and command. It indicates that reward will come from the productive intellect; that the creative faculties have sown good seeds that will reap a harvest. Persons with this ‘compound’ number at their back should carry out their own ideas and plans.
