A Collection of Beatles Clues

Am I blind? I can't find any thread about the ACOBO-Cover. This was the first Beatles' release after Paul's death. We find many obvious clues on it.



Most obvious is the car driving driving right into the guy's (Paul's?) head. This car is driving up (to heaven).

The guy's wearing a blood covered jacket and sits on a epitaph just like the one we can find on the Sgt. Pepper cover from the following year.

On the left side is a staircase with obvious baphomet references. These stairs are leading down (to hell?). Beneath them is another car. We can see four guy all dressed in black. One (Paul?) is sitting in it. A catafalque? One of the guys raises his hat for a last salute. We can see three tires (or sun symbols) symbolizing the three surviving Beatles? Next to the car is an instrument in a case. A bass guitar in a coffin?

Under this image is a couple from the twenties. Paul dies in his "twenties". Next to it is a rose, symbolizing a funeral. Next to this is girl in a heart. Jane ASHer? Or Holy Mary?

The word "Oldies" in the title is a bit strange for songs that are not older than three years. Take the first two letters O.L. and take a step forward - P.M.; P.M. DIES.

At the right side there is a grammophone. Have you ever held a mirror to it? No further questions!



The back cover shows the Beatles. Only Paul's face can be seen clearly. He is the only one dressed in black, there's smoke around him. The other Beatles look quite sad.



The cover is designed by a guy called David Christian. You can't find any informations on him on the internet, can you?

I just noticed another strange thing: the bass drum has exactly the size of a CD! More than a decade before the invention of the compact disc.

Interesting point is that the picture is flipped. Another clue for us all?

George, John & Ringo’s images were used flipped for the front of the Help! album cover. Look at the coat buttons. Paul’s coat has a zipper, but see his hair and watch. Also in the Help! film, you can see Ringo wearing the big red ring on his right hand.


The image of them on skis is flipped, from the inside of the gatefold for the Help! cover.


Capitol Records released the album Yesterday and Today to the US and Canada. Originally adorned with the “butcher cover”, it was quickly replaced with this one.
The photo used here is flipped. You can tell by the shirt buttons & pockets, and John’s hair-part, which is always on his left.


Remember Rain was the first pop song to use backmasking.
Note, Paul’s hair parted from his right this day.


Even the image on the backside of the Sgt. Pepper Lp was flipped.

Could these have really been mistakes by the graphics department? Nothing happened by accident with the Beatles.

Something strange about the (gold) car headlight on the right too, amonre.

Looks like a person who would be starting an automobile race with a flag, or something.

To the immediate right of that, the words:

To The ORIGI(N)

or

To The ORIO(N)

with the "T" in "the" being drawn as a bell, like the Liberty Bell.

There's a large green and blue heart over the fellow standing next to the car on the left.

And to the right of the people dancing, hidden in the darkness at the top of the stairway,
a face! Or perhaps, just the suggestion of one.
