Sorry if this has been discussed before (as I'm sure it has), but I have yet to see a thread on the subject of Black Birds; which are very much (in my opinion at least) tied to the PID mystery. First, we have two Beatles songs mentioning Birds (not cute girls, the actual creature) Ok, so at the time this song was released, it was not too farfetched to make the assumption that this song could have been symbolic of the African American struggle and the Civil Rights movement. However, knowing what we know now, I do not believe this is the actual meaning behind this song. Then, we have: Again, we see the same theme come across: Birds. Freedom. Flying away into freedom. So it begs the question: What is the symbolism of a Blackbird? Well, according to www.ask.com/question/what-do-blackbirds-symbolize : And let's take a look at Sir Paul's Coat of Arms: Look closely. There are two basses in this picture. The large bass at the bottom with its Scarab beetle-esque body, and a smaller, truer to form bass being held by a *welp* Blackbird at the top. Two basses: Two Pauls 1st bass (large (more prominent), not really a bass at all (pretending?), symbolic of a scarab beetle (resurrection?) 2nd bass: truer to form (original), smaller (not in limelight), being held by a blackbird (freedom?) Also, where is this 2nd bass positioned? On the top of a Knight in Shining Armor'r head. (Head injury?) So we see that this Coat of Arms actually tells the story in picture form. There are two Pauls. One is free (flying), and the other is not.

On Crowley’s Art tarot card, engraved upon the Alchemical cauldron, we see a blackbird atop a skull. The cauldron represents the final stage of the Great Work, and is meant to also represent the previous card, the Death card. The Emperor card is associated with the Zodiac of Aries, the Ram. Signified in McCartney’s Ram album. The Emperor card is also associated with the Hebrew letter Tzaddi, which means fish hook. And what do fish hooks catch? Fish. The Death card is associated with the Hebrew letter Nun, which means fish. Notice on the Death card, the blue figure being symbolically beheaded by the scythe, and his spirit is emerging from him in order to reincarnate. And notice the scorpion between the Lily and the Lotus. (Tara) Interesting that the Death card and the Art card meet at Tiphareth on the Tree of Life, the soul. The Solar Man, the Superman. The Sephiroth that connects directly with Kether/the Crown, and spans the Abyss. P.S. Crowley corrected the imbalance of the previous decks by switching the Heh of the Emperor with the Tzaddi of the Star card. (Starr) P.P.S. (Don't forget And Your Bird Can Sing. One of my favorites). Also, VoodooGuru did an extensive presentation on the coat of arms not too long ago, somewhere.

The fish swims, sky, land, water.
Hence the FIN.I like water. And if I say I really knew you well, What would your answer be?

And just out of sheer observation, I see six tuners on the top guitar. And the bottom object has six strings which is synonymous with guitars. Technicalities, I know... And for what it’s worth, all of the McCartney clan crests feature a knight’s helmet atop a shield emblazoned with a stag. and as Beacon pointed out: High Park Farm is interesting also because the location seems to traverse the various McCartney partners (though I am not sure that Heather was too keen) and it is where he wrote Ram - L.I.L.Y. and all that - and to where he retreated when the Beatles broke up, and, beacuse in 1966 Paul received, or commisioned, this painting by Peter Blake of Sir Edwin Landseer's 'Monarch of the Glen'. It would appear that over the years McCartney has been busy buying up five farms on Kintyre so that he is, now, a real life Monarch of the Glen.

Athena as the goddess of philosophy became an aspect of the cult in Classical Greece during the late 5th century BC. She is the patroness of various crafts, especially of weaving, as Athena Ergane, and was honored as such at festivals such as Chalceia. The metalwork of weapons also fell under her patronage. She led battles (Athena Promachos or the warrior maiden Athena Parthenos)[11] as the disciplined, strategic side of war, in contrast to her brother Ares, the patron of violence, bloodlust and slaughter—"the raw force of war". Athena's wisdom includes the cunning intelligence (metis) of such figures as Odysseus. Not only was this version of Athena the opposite of Ares in combat, it was also the polar opposite of the serene earth goddess version of the deity, Athena Polias. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AthenaThough Athena is a goddess of war strategy, she disliked fighting without purpose and preferred to use wisdom to settle predicaments. In Ovid's Metamorphoses Athena is occasionally referred to as "Tritonia". Another possible meaning may be triple-born or third-born, which may refer to a triad Athena is usually depicted with a common Greek helmet, nothing really fancy, no feathers. Most often, if she is shown in armor, she either holds her helmet, or has it pushed back on her head, rather than down over her face. answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090419172954AAfrXjO Well, I decided the helmet needed feathers. You know, Wings.

In the movie Paul, about a grey alien that goes by the name Paul, he revives a dead blackbird. Then immediately proceeds to eat it.
