All I was bascially saying was, "Yes, you're right, he's holding the stand of the picture frame." Then you thought I photoshopped it. Wouldn't that be considered something like theorizing before you have data - twisting facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts?

WHY WAS GEORGE HARRISON NOT AT THE AWARDS?
Suppose that JPM's death happened on September 11th. Then George would have heard next day on the 12th. He could not endure to be anywhere near Abbey Road after that, so he and Pattie booked a flight out to India ASAP, they flew out on the 14th.
But if you want to say that George was not at the Melody Maker awards on Tuesday 13th because he was ‘getting ready’ for his flight out the next day, that may not make a lot of sense.
.............................. Shepperton is about one hour from the Post Office Tower. The Evening Standard comes out about 5 o'clock. So there would have been no time for Tom Jones to be there for the luncheon, get the Melody Maker first prize, have a drink or two, then go home and have the Evening Standard phone him up in his home at Shepperton, to get their story for their evening edition. So, the events as reported could not have happened.

If only we could see clearly the date on the award that Paul was holding in the video footage. I have two as yet unprovable theories:
1) It was pre-recorded , say maybe even before the American tour because they knew they might be too busy or they would be mobbed and then the film was shown on Sept 13th at the lunchtime awards to a live audience.
2) Could this have actually been (say) 1965? But with Paul dead, it helped the covers story to say it was 1966.

Here is Clare Kuehn's present view: invanddis.proboards.com/thread/7714/clare-kuehn-research-paul-deadDare I add a bit about 'Stupid Bloody Tuesday'? Here goes. On this very day, 13th September 1966, when the Melody Maker awards did/did not happen, Brian Epstein went to visit Lennon in Hamburg. This was the worst day of John Lennon's life. He heard the news. 'I heard the news today Oh boy.' He went to pieces. He was advised about but did not meet the replacement. www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/I-Am-the-Walrus-lyrics-The-Beatles/251F4ED8AB28FCD448256BC2001430BF I venture to interpret the I am the Walrus lines as follows: He is in Hamburg - where the Beatles began, so Fate put him in this most appropriate place for the terrible moment of his life: 1. He's spaced out on LSD "Sitting on a cornflake waiting for the van to come" 2. Brian comes and gives him the shattering news: "Corporation teeshirt, stupid bloody Tuesday" 3. He then has to meet the replacement a few days later: "Man you been a naughty boy. You let your face grow long"

Here is a higher resolution of Paul and Ringo with the signed, dated Melody Maker Award plaque, clearly dated 9/13/66. Combine this with the scan from Melody Maker of the 17th speaking of the Awards Ceremony in the past tense, and it makes the 9/13 date more probable. This shot is also dated 9/13/66 on Getty Images site

We should have a billion of these printed and ask "has anyone recently seen EITHER of these men ( the people that are now calling themselves "Ringo" and "Paul" are NOT these men!")
