Billy Pepper and the Pepperpots were a group in Liverpool in 1964 who copied the Beatles style, and even covered some of their songs. Many PID theorists believe that the lead singer was in fact the man that replaced Paul McCartney in late 1966. It is an established fact that Paul came up with the idea for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and wrote the song with Mal Evans when they were in Kenya in late 1966. If the theory is correct -- well, think about it -- Sgt. "Pepper" .... hmmm....
