This one was on my home page suggestions. Quote of the day from Faul, "People say you're like The Beatles ...you don't play your own instruments." Faul also talks about early Beatles only being in it for money.
I'm gonna say he's gone by 1971. That may even be all of The Monkees. Worth looking into.

This looks like two different guise as well
The Monkees release 1 album in 1966, 3 albums in 1967, 2 albums in 1968, 2 albums in 1969 and 1 album called "Changes" in 1970. Then they don't release another album until 1987.
I'm sure you've got a perfectly good explanation for that B.

B, you're a right snitch lol. No way would I have even suspected The Monkees as possible replacements if you hadn't posted that Nesmith-Letterman clip.
Peter Tork got done as well, but they are getting more difficult to discern. Nesmith was easy, then Jones was a bit harder. Peter Tork's replacement looks a bit like the original Dana Carvey. Mickey Dolenz is gonna be harder. He's the son of a Hollywood somebody, so he could have survived.
This is infuriating to watch. They just go on and on about how they weren't a read band and how they didn't play their instruments etc etc. The producers get a bit of braggadocio in there as well. They were probably hunting for the lookalikes before the ink on the contracts was dry
