Zoomed version Welcome Iconicmoment. I'll take a close look at your posts in a couple of days. I want to go back a look at a few things before I comment on your comparisons. I won't have time for a couple of days. Bogged down with landscape work right now on Pleasant Valley Sundays. 😁 But, I wanted to take a minute to welcome you!

Welcome. Different Pauls, though. Compare the chins.

Welcome. Different Pauls, though. Compare the chins. I would also note that studio Paul's fringe is drawn in. This is likely the bald Paul, possibly actually related to Jim McCartney (assuming he existed as one person…). And something looks a bit off with both the fingers on his right hand and the chair, itself. Additionally, the shadow under his chin gives me pause. Please, also, eyeball the right hand of that John.

Zoomed version I doubt that any serious or extensive tampering took place. I recognize this Beatlemania era Paul. I've seen him before, but I cannot place exactly where. A studio double? I doubt that, too. Perhaps this was a little glimpse from the Beatles as to who was actually making the music back in studio, when other better looking versions were accepting awards, giving interviews, generally having fun. Kinda reminds me of a certain lyric "And the first one said to the second one there, I hope you're having fun". Band on the Run, of course. Yep, I'm sure Beatlemania was a lot of fun. If I'm right, and the Beatles were multiples right from the earliest days, this lyric from a "first one" to a "second one", makes some sense. I see why you selected these two photos for comparison. But Kaleidoquake always notices shadows and pixelation. There is indeed a shadow under the chin of the Beatlemania era guy, which could change the appearance of the chin. Yet that sullen countenance, I recognize in another Paul I've seen. That, and the shirt buttoned all the way up to the neck, with no tie. Overall, the chin shape is far more reminiscent of the early club playing Pauls than say, the long oval chin of the 1966 Memphis interview Paul. I'm gonna bump a couple of old threads that are pretty interesting. You may have already seen them. Good luck matching up the Pauls and Johns, and keep posting comparisons if you think you're on to something. Personally, I think the Paul in the We Can Work it Out and Help videos on YouTube reappears in the Coming Up video in 1980. I think he's the one playing the part of Ozzy Osborne, with the long wig. No one seems to concur. I'm out in left field on this one. It happens. 😁

In this still you posted, no I gotta admit he doesn't look like our We Can Work it Out, Ticket to Ride, Help video Paul. But when I watch the Coming Up video with this guy in action back to back with the early Help video, there's something about the facial expressions that make these two guys eerily alike. To me, at least. Like I said, I'm out in left field on this comparison. No one agrees. 😁 So, I'm just gonna drop it. That's it. End of obsession.
