what does it have to do with rotten apple? i can't see the significance of it? All I can see is that the man posing is named Shane. The title says I'm a Poser. and I thought this was interesting... “Here’s a man who has been commissioned by the Chinese government to paint pictures of Confucius, of Chairman Mao, and I’m sitting in his sister’s house in Neath, chatting and drinking tea with him. gotta love the welsh \/,,

...When you have alot of emotion invested into believing a certain way about a rock n roll or hollywood type, it can be difficult to hear anything that distorts that image of them that you've made in your head. Some how you think you really, really know that person, and may even consider them, in certain aspects, as like a family member, and no matter what they say or do, they always get the free pass. I stand by my post on this thread 100% Right on. Thats what they're there for right? To paraphrase JL himself - its all a big fucking myth.. and people love to lap it up. Personally I dont think we (the public) will ever know an amazing amount about any celebrity/performers personal lives.. and why should we? John's whole bit about 'we dont need leaders' was spot on - and my own personal interpretation of that is that we simply ...dont - need - celebrities... Musicians, performers, actors, great... we need them to keep us entertained - but its when they get elevated to this god-like status that it just gets too much (and a lot of that elevation is to do with the clever press they get more so than any hysteria from the public IMO).

But in LIB, you can see that the others, particularly George, had no time for him. If that was the original JPM come back for a jam, do you think that there would have been that much tension? Or was Faul actually a new improved, better version of the original!!!!? That's the problem with Let It Be. It's a heavily-skewed glimpse into the legendary Get Back sessions; it paints a bleak picture of the band. Although they weren't always getting along perfectly, believe me, they had a gas recording some of those songs. I highly reccomend The River Rhine Tapes, or any other good bootleg (I'm sure JoJo owns a good deal of them) of the Get Back sessions. Most Beatle bootleg compilations have at least one track from the Get Back sessions, and many albums consist solely of GBS recordings. Point is, things weren't quite as bad as Let It Be made it look, and there a dozens of Get Back session recordings that feature John and Paul goofing about and having a genuinely good time. See? It wasn't so bad... may i recommend.. "Thirty Days" or the much longer (and near-complete) "A-B Road" Thirty Days: www.bootlegzone.com/album.php?name=vt218§ion=1A-B Road: www.bootlegzone.com/album.php?name=pc02-1§ion=1

Wow, I can't believe people are even debating this. The "I Found Out" thing (I don't know why he even did that - it's easily the worst thing he's done) is using drums cut up from "Free As A Bird" (just as he did in the "Now And Then" one) and the demo that is readily available. It's on The John Lennon Anthology. You don't notice that the drum fills are obviously samples (badly compressed)? And that the "Everybody's laughing..." part of "Sun King" is playing in the background, and part of "Revolution 9" is playing at the end of "Now And Then"? like i said: out-fake

it can be found (along with several other versions of the song) on the 'complete lost lennon tapes' collection.. not sure which disc its on at the moment - theres a lot of repetition in that set so that same version could be on there more than once also.
when i first heard it on the RA my immediate thought was IAAP was singing as I didnt really recognise it, but shortly afterwards I decided to look it up in the CLLT collection - and lo and behold, it was simply a demo.. albeit altered and elaborated upon by (someone)

I dont know who else exactly is involved with IAAP, but their audio skills are quite evident... is there anything to say that this is definitely the 1995 version, or could it be that IAAP inc have taken the original and remade their own 'out-fake' so to speak? In a similar vein to the 'I found Out' mix they used on... umm.. its been so long... was it the 'imagine peace' RA? IAAP's "I Found Out" mix isn't an out-fake. It's an original recording that doesn't sound like any take of the original song. However.....it eerily sounds like an older John Lennon singing it....yes, I imagine that's exactly what he would sound like if he were alive today. I think you will find that it is. Out-fake meaning that it is a mix that wasn't made by John Lennon or any of his associates. The track he used was a demo version of the song, John (with slightly altered lyrics to the finished version) singing with his acoustic guitar; however, in IAAP's mix there is significantly more than a guitar (apologies if this makes no sense, im rather drunk).. my guess is that whoever mixed this version (IAAP or not IAAP) added the drums, bass etc of their own accord. The sections like "...out... i found.. found out" certainly weren't mixed by anyone in the 70's - those sections are almost definite samples.

On Manson's b-day! On the day the McCartney years was released! On the day of the fire by the London Wheel! On the day we had the collective dream experience! The Rosemary's Baby guy dies! Yeah, it's all probably just a wild coincidence. Oh yeah and also same day Tutankhamun: the boy king comes to London! Wow - blows my mind.. ! Especially when you consider all the things we've discussed in here that relate so closely to all of these things without exception. Manson comes up time and again in varying detail and of all days, this one turns out to be his birthday lol; obviously the McCartney Years has been a hot topic here for some time. But lets see now, what else...? ...Ira Levin has been covered a few times, as well as individual posts on Rosemary's Baby, The Boys from Brazil and (possibly?) Stepford Wives... ...The fire: 'the fireman' and his candle are always popping up... then we have the London/McCartney eye connection. Admittedly the fire was a good 5 miles away from the eye - but thats near enough (within viewing distance at least), especially on the day that it was due to be named after the fireman/fine ram... I don't know the exact location of McCartney's warehouse - other than that it is/was (?) an art warehouse in the east-end. Where was that fire again? Oh yeah - a warehouse in the east-end. Hmm... And lets not forget McCartney's strange silence at a time when we'd expect him to be all over the media.. The collective dreams were most likely the result of our efforts to understand PID and the anticipation of seeing what will happen around the 12th combined with all of the occult material that our brains have been absorbing in recent weeks/months/years - but still, we each had similarly bizarre and uncharacteristically dark dreams on the very same night - creepy And king Tut - he's come up a few times in a number of different areas... all of this in just one day?? Synchronicity is getting to be my favourite word en.wikipedia.org/wiki/November_2007#2007_November_12

Lol no I'm not iburiedpaul.. not on this physical level at least - maybe we met in the mind matrix? lol "The only other issue was I was reluctant to ask for help from God" I sort of had that feeling, like I was cavorting with the devil when I shouldn't have been and that the mess I was in was all my own fault for maybe.. idk - forgetting 'god'? I often remember fragments - sometimes larger parts, like last night - of my dreams, I'm told that's not usual? I used to hear a lot about lucid dreaming from an ex-girlfriend who studied psychology although I never really got into it. I have always been very interested in it - even before I knew the technical term for it I would try as a kid to somehow realise where I was and affect what I did in the dream. I did meet batman at a non-existent stream by a meadow directly behind my house (I live on a housing estate - no meadows there lol) and told him "I'm dreaming, you know. Wow - I'm dreaming and I know it!" or words to that effect - but that was long ago and I've never managed to do it again.. Ta for reminding me though, I'll write it on my new memo-pad and google it tomorrow ;D For now I'll just sleep - and hope I don't have any more nightmares again

i just cant help feeling bad about myself for dropping that girl's soul in the shit so readily so to speak bad deceptionist I wouldn't normally have posted it but after you mentioned having a weird dream I considered it. Then when you mentioned the 'devil' character (at points i thought perhaps the cult leader in my dream could have been 'the devil' himself.. or some manifestation of the basic idea of 'the devil') I was like.. woah! Synch lol. Although it shouldn't be all that surprising. I've always had a line of thinking in my mind that has wondered if the entire RA series was a social experiment on IAAP's part in demonstrating the effects of even rudimentary media (i think mike noted that IAAP uses iMovie??) on the masses. Perhaps a more up-to-date analogy of Orson Welles' 'war of the worlds' broadcast. When you think of all the alternate accounts with I's for l's and the questionable nature of 'George Martin's Love code' and the entire IAAP scenario - not to mention all the subliminals and the fact that we have in this thread attempted to dissect and explore every possible angle and approach, as well as the almost paranormal and at times spiritual nature of the subject matter (I've heard this said about the Beatles story many many times - Its not a regular story, its not something that took place in reality - It was a 10 year media event, and so is mainly a construct of our perceptions and how we envisage the lads... IMO).. could the fact that we are having similar dreams related to strange occult themes be IAAP's proverbial 'results'? Anyone else had any strange dreams recently?

"Back to the dream: I asked about the dream because I had a weird one. It involved casting the devil out (or trying to). I should say I have never had a dream of that nature before. Anyway, the guy looks like the little Paul zombie dude in the Hey Jude video, and then he turns into the big blond guy standing next to him. It's my party (that the devil is crashing) so I politely tell him that we won't be needed the devil and he agrees. Everything seems fine until he starts pulling his own teeth out with a wire cutter. The devil guy keeps agreeing to leave but the devil just wont go. I was like, damn, this exorcism shit is hard work. Plus, it was Manson's birthday!" fucking hell! my dream had a 'devil-guy' at the centre of it all too. and I never dream about weird creepy shit like that - period. i usually remember my dreams, and they're pretty zany - but never creepy like this. I can't remember exactly how, but somehow I became embroiled in some sort of satanic cult and I find myself at a meeting (? don't know the terminology lol) headed by this 'devil-guy' in a dark room with lots of others there - perhaps an apartment lounge - not all that big. I don't want to be there, the whole time I'm looking for a way out - but this guy is compelling me to stay against my will - not physically, but somehow mentally - and I keep telling him I have to go, but he gives me this little thing, this trinket (thinking about it now it was a warhammer model thats on my window-sill, a mounted chaos knight - i think ( oz.games-workshop.com/games/warhammer/hordesofchaos/gaming/despoilers/conv.htm) ... anyway - he tells me I can leave, but unless I plant this chaos knight about somebody else's person - without them realising - then my soul is his and I'm bound to their order for eternity (a lot of the fear and terror was implicit rather than literal depictions or threats). If I complete the task then the person I plant it on becomes the soul for sale. So he sends me on my quest and I somehow come across a group of girls sat on some grass ... somewhere anyway - one of them i recognise from when I was back at school (school crops up a lot in my dreams for some reason). Not a girl that I really would have chosen to speak to. A fairly nasty piece of work by all accounts thinking about it - but I dont remember thinking that in the dream - anyway, her wallet is on the ground and I somehow slip the knight into her wallet as I talk to her and then I keep going wherever it is I'm going and I end up at a house party (again filled with people from my school days) and I can't remember what my intentions were, but the house is literally so packed that people are swimming through the gaps to get places (thinking about it, it was very reminiscent of an arena-type crowd - except in a house) and I'm just completely crushed and stuck here - and worse still, some of my friends don't recognise me or are ignoring me despite my best efforts to do whatever I'm trying to do.. anyway, I can't remember if I get back to the satanist guy to inform him of the completion of my quest, but I have a vague recollection of his entire 'chaos knight' thing being a despicable ruse and that really my soul was his forever (I still don't know how I became entangled in this mess). The next phase of the dream that I remember involved me being lost in a town/city that was unfamiliar to me.. I don't think this bit really relates to here though - I eventually somehow come across my mate's parents who are visiting the town and they inform me that I'm in Wiltshire (his mum grew up there - and I've been up to my neck in paperwork for their county council at work. Incidentally I saw her the other day for the first time in .. maybe years?) and hatch a hare-brained scheme to get me back home (not that far) by disguising me as somebody else... and I think I woke up not long after that. From trying to recount it I get the impression that the devil-guy kept popping up like the cheshire cat to taunt me. It was wholly disturbing and I hope I don't have any more dreams like that for a long long time yeah - sorry, went on a bit of a tangent there - but you get the idea
