Christopher Guest----------extroardinary talent.
His talent goes all the way up to eleven.
Guest also took on musical comedy in "Waiting for Guffman." I nearly hurled a cow laughing when I first saw it. I still hurl cows when I watch my DVD of it. . I have a real tore up livin' room.
Guest also took on the "folk music" era, with "A Mighty Wind."
Guest and crew also took on the world of fanatic dog owners in his send up of organized dog contests, "Best in Show." You will howl. You will howl like ze wind........a har-har-har..........
If you NEED to laugh, for medical reasons and not just cosmetic ones, watch a Christopher Guest movie. It will improve the general health by at least 71.9%. If you need to laugh for mere social interaction or cosmetology itself, watch Tracey Ullman. You will have many friends and very clear skin after gaw-fawing at her comic creativity. Why is this? It isn't known, but research is underway in Taipei and Coral Butte, Minnesota. In the meantime, watch with dignity.

I'm bumping this thread. I watched it again last night, and it's even funnier the second time. Remember, the drummer who just... exploded?? "The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand, or so I have read"

I love their screen names....Mick Shrimpton, Ian Faith, David St. Hubbins, named after the saint of ?i can't remember, but it was funny. I also liked the rivalry between Nigel and Jeanine over David and her trying to take over the band. Was that like a Yoko thing or something I wonder? Or maybe Linda.
