I put in a script to bump the max size up to 125X125 pixels, rather than the default 100X100. Not a big difference, but if anything odd happens, let me know.

Ughh forget it, found that sometimes if you have a HUGE pic (that's supposed to get resized down) sometimes it stays HUGE in a post and gobbles up the entire screen!

Then why the limit is now 65x65? Check your profile, yours is 100X50 now. (no greater than 100 for either dimension)

And while I'm at it, how do you upload an avatar? There are several at the Nasa Jet Propulsion Laboratory website that look hopeful, but, sorry, I'm clueless on internet technical matters.

Best to open a Photobucket account, upload your image there, and then cut and paste its link to your profile. Having said that, just give me the link to the picture you want, and I'll take care of it if you like.

The website is www.nasaimages.org/ Click on Universe (2nd. row, far right). The image is on Page 3, 6 rows down, last image on right, caption: Astronomers find one of the [youngest and brightest galaxies in the early universe]. I think you have to credit NASA. Thanks alot, JoJo. I use a library computer and I have limited time and resources to learn computer applications. Plus (as they say), they keep undating the damn things and everybody says you're supposed to fiddle with them to get them to work right. Don't have time to fiddle.
