A new feature, a way of embedding Youtube and Google videos in a post. When you start a thread, or reply to one, you should (hopefully) see Youtube and Google icons above the Proboards smiles, with the other javascript buttons. The key to making this work is to use the proper indentifier for the video: Examples: Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5X4y5icOhoGoogle: video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1882984516749376996&q=beatles&hl=en Only the stuff in bold goes between the special tags, nothing else. Or, with the tags: [gvid]-1444637107417806305[/gvid] If the buttons don't show up, the tags for doing it manually are: Youtube: Google: [gvid][/gvid]

TI noted that posting embedded video with these tags won't show the embed in the "most recent posts" function. So, if you want to do this, it would be best to post a traditional link in addition to the embedded video.

Is this a standard feature built into all proboards or was special code required?

I'm having trouble with your instructions. Are you saying to put the "yt" tags between the link? Because that isn't working for me. And I don't understand how the first example works either.

Proboards got on board with this, so that's why there are two different clickable Youtube buttons. Either one seems to work fine.
