Can someone please tell me who is singing lead in "Rock And Roll Music " ? Some lines it sounds like John, others it sounds like Paul  Everytime I listen to the song, it drives me to distraction. |

I always thought it was John.
But I do remember in the 70's there was a release of "Rarities" and there was a recording of "Help". It sounded the same to me, but if you listen closely, John and Paul switched lead vocals on that particular track on that rare album. It used to be that John and Paul's voices could be similar when they wanted to sound the same. It could never be done with Bill.
John and Bill's voices never harmonized. Listen to the harmonies on the pre 66 and afterwards, not the same, not even close.

T.I., you've stirred my curiosity. Which ones do you think were Johnny ? I have Sgt. Pepper on CD in my car. I can listen to them on the way home.  |
