I don't think it will happen. Since George died, you can scratch any new recordings bearing the name "beatles" on them.

I can explained the way I feel about it by saying that McCartney + Starr doesn't equal the Beatles. The stuff they did around the Anthology time was border line, but they were 3, which is 75% of the band. 50% of the band is not enough in my opinion. Especially since in term of songwriting, Starr is not on the same level.
I would be happy to hear what they'd come with tho, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it would be fair to say it's a Beatles release. I am sure they think the same.

If it has Lennon lead vocals and Harrison guitar/backing vocals or whatever, as well as Macca and Ringo then surely it must still constitute being the Beatles?
