Beatles code riddle for fans
Beatles producer Sir George Martin is challenging fans to crack the "code" in a new Fab Four album produced for a Las Vegas show.
Sir George and his son Giles, who say only they and Sir Paul McCartney know the answers, have hidden more than 130 Beatles songs within their 90-minute soundtrack to Love - the new Beatles/Cirque Du Soleil production.
Every sound in the show is taken from a Beatles recording, both famous and obscure, with some excerpts played backwards.
A prize will be offered to anyone who cracks the code when the CD soundtrack is released in October. Sir George, 80, told the Sunday Express:
"I really don't think anyone will ever get it."

Do you think that Sir George was making a sly reference to the fact that noone has come forward concerning the original clues left by the Beatles about Paul

Oh yeah, we get it......but what is the purpose of this "clue" filled contest?
Why not give someone a prize for breaking the DeLennon Code?

Beatles "Love" special headed to TVAccess Hollywood will air an hour long, primetime special featuring a in-depth look into the The Beatles' LOVE, the group's musical collaboration with Cirque du Soleil now running in Las Vegas. The special, titled The Beatles' "LOVE" By Cirque du Soleil, features exclusive interviews with surviving Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with John Lennon and George Harrison's widows, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison.
The TV special begins airing on August 19th on various NBC-TV affiliates. In early September, it will run on non-NBC stations who show Access Hollywood. Check your local listings for Access Hollywood stations and times.
The special also includes footage of the group's legendary producer George Martin and his son Giles mixing the musical's soundtrack at London's Abbey Road Studios, using the Fab Four's original master tapes. They are currently re-mixing the soundtrack for commercial release later this year.
The LOVE musical is now running in Las Vegas at The Mirage Hotel.
Paul McCartney's lead guitarist Rusty Anderson told us that apart from their music, the Fab Four continue to be a major cultural force: "If there ever is a group of musicians and a force and a sonic sound and a style and a lyrical point of view and everything that sort of sums up something -- it was the Beatles."
