So many PID people say that the replacement is taller than the real Paul. I've heard from people who've met McCartney that they were surprised at how small he is. Yes, indeed, I read it on his site. He might be an impostor but he's probably the same height. In so many photos from late 60s, he's wearing boots and the other Beatles are wearing sandals- of course he'd look taller! (Maybe now he has osteoporosis...)

you know, Jerri, I think that's a common remark from people who meet celebrities....I've heard it in reference to many stars. Maybe because they are "bigger than life" on-screen? One exception was Johnny Cash --- he was a BIG man.  |

Keep in mind Faul may be 70 or older and as you get older you shrink. My grandfather was 6'3" when he was in his 40's and when he died in his 60's he was barely 6'1". You have to expect an inch or two loss in height when you are over 60. P.S. I saw Meredith Baxter Birney in an airport once and she was almost as tall as I and I am nearly 6'.  |
