Imagine if Paul had owned that pair in 1966.
I bet Miss "Shoe Queen" herself Imelda Marcos would have never let James Paul McCartney leave Manilla without scarfin' those shoes right off his feet to show off to Ferdinand. I can just see her she chasing him down the runway at the airport: "You give me dose shoes right now you Imperial B*st*rd or I will detain allos Beatles..."
It would have been one more pair to add for her fabulous collection. Too bad for her. It looks like Paul ran a lot faster.
