Each one believing? I thought it could mean everyone in the audience believing it's Paul. Naaaaa! ;D

Seeing this brought something to mind. I wonder if John's "How do you sleep at night?" was more a rebuke at Faul's moxy for running with the deception to the 'enth degree rather than John's anger at Faul "breaking up" the Beatles, which was the more popular interpretation. Just a thought...

Just a thought... Agreed #2. It took some moxy to release that 1st album alright, & the other 3 guys were probably a bit shocked at that developement. But I never felt like Faul broke up The Beatles. Quite the contrary coz Faul helped extend The Beatles past where it would've otherwise stopped.

Faul helped extend The Beatles past where it would've otherwise stopped. i agree... nobody knows the exactly what happened, i have a feeling they all, including faul had something nasty hanging over there heads, and if that wasn't the case.. i just can't see John letting Faul go on being Paul.. just a random thought.. i have many!

If my recollection is accurate ( and it may not be), John was the first to announce to P/F that he wanted out and, if I'm correct, he credits Yoko for encouraging him to finally "just say no more" to being a Beatle and quit. John's anger toward P/F was letting the cat out of the bag publically BEFORE he had a chance to. I still have an old Beta ( yes, Beta) copy of a 20/20 show circa 1990 where P/F gives this explanation as the reason behind John's anger toward him. P/F stated that he just made public what was in fact a reality...that the Beatles were no more. John's "How Do You Sleep at Night" was popularly interpreted as John's venom toward P/F for ending the Fab Four. I still think it had more to do with what I stated earlier...He was ticked at P/F for taking the farce too far.
