Although it's been around a while, it's from the 88-89 tour, from the book that was sold there. Thought a higher qaulity scan might be interesting.. Zoomed out:

JoJo, is that photo mirror-printed (negative flipped?) ? that hit me immediately when I saw it... No way, look at his right eyebrow! It's probably the hair part that made you think it was flipped. Flip it yourself, it looks even more wrong.

JoJo, is that photo mirror-printed (negative flipped?) ? that hit me immediately when I saw it... I have to agree with Flaming Pie.. LOL! But seriously, I see what you mean, and the experiment in parting the hair on a different side was brief, started oh, somewhere in 1967 and lasted just a few short years. Maybe it was some stylist that thought it up, who knows.. Anyway, the eye that sticks out or looks "bugged out" is on our left, where we've seen it before, so it isn't mirrored. This is the one that was one of Uberkinder's pics, an example of how he allegedly looks odd with his mouth closed. Or not so alledgedly perhaps? Picked this up on Ebay, just on impulse, had no idea this pic was in there.

Woah, hold on, that's not him with his mouth naturaly closed, that's an expression, like a Bill Cosby expression. I'll make a comparison if you want.

Make his skin white and his hair green, and he'd be a dead ringer for Batman's archnemesis the Joker.

I gave him a haircut on photoshop, and I think he looks a lot less weird looking: More like the "Faul" we're all used too, huh? I believe it was that hair style that made him look weird.
