As soon as I listend to C&C I knew there was trouble. I think me and Faul are on the same level, maybe because we are both left handed bass players.... Who knows, but just the way he was singing, and lyrics like "I gave my promise to you girl, I don't want to take it back"..... I just, damn it, I wish I would have wrote this down about a month ago so I could say HAHA I TOLD YOU SO!

Well, I think many are not surprised, although they wouldn't have gone out on a limb and predicted it.

How can you be on the same wavelength with an imposter? Bill isn't really left handed and the bass is not his instrument? He's righthanded and a piano man.
Sing us a song piano man Sing us a song tonight We're all in the mood for a melody and you got us feeling alright....
Hey piano man...are you on the same wavelength as Bill? A replacement worth billions....Hey, Anna Nicole Smith is looking for a Sugar Daddy...maybe Bill fits the "bill"....I can see it now, Sir Paul and "Lady" Anna, almost choking from laughter.....

He may not be a left handed bass player, but he plays bass left handed.

Or he plays at playing it, at least.

It's called glorified manipulation......He plays the bass, but at heart he's the piano man.

I agree with all the points made so far. Bill & Anna Nicole. Wouldn't that be something indeed !

Didn't she get a load of money off the marriage to the "other old billionaire"? Gee, dig her Trimspa claws into Bill's fortune...that is, what's left of it after Lady Heather gets her settlement....No pre nup...Bill, are you nuts?

LINK Looks like someone had the same thoughts... McCARTNEY 'HINTS' OF SPLIT IN SONG
Fans of SIR PAUL McCARTNEY are convinced he hinted about his split from HEATHER MILLS in a song on his latest album. The couple announced their separation last week (17MAY06) after nearly four years of marriage. But devotees of the former BEATLE spotted warning signs in the lyrics to FRIENDS TO GO, from his disc CHAOS AND CREATION IN THE BACKYARD - which was released last year (05). The lyrics go, "You never need to worry about me/ I'll be fine on my own/ Someone else can worry about me/ I've spent a lot of time on my own... I don't know how long this storm is going to last/ Whether we're going to carry on."

IMO, he's talking to JPM in that song.

I love this song. The AOL Sessions version is also very good. Too bad if it's about the split, though...

We can't be too sure of anything, but my intuition is.. as a song about their relationship, it's a better fit.
The unnamed sources are popping out of the woodwork of course, saying he was giving signs he wanted out, but thinking about leaving a relationship precedes (often by years) the actual act. Why wouldn't he put it into song?

Nah, Friends To Go still holds up better as schizoFaul assuming a JPM persona and talking to himself.
"Riding to Vanity Fair" seems to be the Heather Mills song.
"I feel like I'm a grown woman and he's my little boy." -- Heather Mills interview w/ Vanity Fair magazine, 2002
"You put me down But I can laugh it off And act like nothing's wrong But why pretend I think I've heard enough Of your familiar song"
- Faul, Riding to Vanity Fair, 2005ish

Always wondered about that one, and if he was thinly disguising the word "writing".

I SWEAR TO GOD I predicted the thread about the split. Objection, your honor. That testimony lacks solid co-robert-rating evidence; the witness imagines himself to be some kind of a Paul-m reader.* *humor, wink-wink, grin-grin.

It's called glorified manipulation......He plays the bass, but at heart he's the piano man. Yes, I have always thought that Sir Paul looks a bit TOO comfortable at the piano. I know these things.

Yes, being a piano man yourself...you would know the nuances that others would not notice. Like a trained singer being able to tell sharp or flat notes when someone sings...that others may not pick up on.
But being a non piano player, it just seemed that alot of Bill's performances seemed most entertaining as a pianist, rather than standing at a mike or playing a bass or guitar. There's just something different about his stance and JPM's that is not the same.

I agree completely with Rita. Has anyone considered that there is a reason Paul would hold his bass the way he did ? : Could it have been that he held the fingerboard up higher because his arms were on the short side ? I'm not sure, Lili. But I do love the pictures you've posted. Thanks so much for sharing them. Paul looks totally cool in them!

Thanks, dear. I especially love the one where he is sitting on the floor & playing. He's scrunched up in a way that only a smaller person could sit. In fact, you can see the platform built into his boot !
