Yeah, TKP sent me the link, I said post it of course. In the Nagra Tape Rolls, out of earshot of John and Yoko, I think Ringo and some of the crew were having a bit of a sarcastic giggle about her being a "famous Japanese actress". I guess I didn't know the actress part was literally true, thought it had some other meaning.. Once Yoko hooked up with John, she became an avant garde moviemaker, with "Bottoms", (look that one up, hehe) and another with a fly crawling over a naked woman's body.. EDIT: TKP used the "username" trick, and fooled me this time, LOL. Username trick

Seeing those makes me feel very sad for the young Yoko..........how depressing to be a part of this kind of thing. Perhaps she saw this as art; raw and cutting edge. Some people see these kinds of films this way. I suppose it was also a job ergo a paycheck at a funky time in the 60's. A film depicting the exploitation, rape, and abuse of a foreign young woman coming to the US for a better chance in life-----that is a really dark trip. Of course, maybe it does some good in revealing the bad treatment that some innocent people got. It's disturbing, I gotta admit that seeing that bothered me (I am not whining, I can deal with it). Of course Yoko was a paid actress in an underground film, just doing an actor's job. I dunno. Somehow it makes me sad for her, that part of her past. Someone on the net dug up and put a (supposed, alleged) short XXX clip of alledgedly, Barbra Streisand doing a short stag film, rather explicit. Very shocking. I have NO idea how to find it again. Someone sent me the link years ago. I saw it and forgot about it quickly. I think it is either some kind of a video forgery, or it is some lady who happens to resemble her enough fool you in the terrible lighting and film stock that was used. But it doesn't matter. Stallone lived thru his experience and so did others. I hate that great talents such as they may have been exploited. Sly was young. He and other star-struck, ambitious young people make certain choices and rose above it in time. Yoko has moved on to rise above this inauspicious beginning. It's in the past. I am glad that she made Lennon happy and kept him "together and coping" in this crazy world as long as she did. We've all probably had our own little moment in Hell anyway, right?

That film's pretty cheesy alright, but it's not especially bad or shameful, and would have made for an amusing retrospective had she gone on to become famous in this field. (she sure enough went on to become famous!) Has a bit of a "Reefer Madness" vibe goin' on.
I remember the alleged Streisand clip, I also remember it wasn't really decided whether it was her or a lookalike. No way to really determine so..

Yea, true. If it was Barb, it doesn't matter to me. It can not change my enthusiasm for her. I know some people who might even react by saying, "Hey, Barb! You GO girl!!" And you're right---Yoko did no wrong appearing in this film, which, yea, it is in that Reefer Madness mode. I guess the subject is what made me sad; foreign innocents stumbling into victimization. Ugly scenario.

You know, there is that one Yoko Ono speech reversal where forward she says, "If you become naked", then backward is "Satan look at me, please"!

Peter the Dealer by Yoko Ono
Peter The Dealer (4:46) albums ยท lyrics
We were waiting for peter, the dealer, He comes in the evening when were fussing in bed. He says, good morning, heres your breakfast, And give us plates of stone. Take a pinta blood each from us to give to the poor.
We count the windows in the cities and tell each other, Yes, life is a helluva lot of waiting time.
Our minds are objects of constipation, Our bodies are subject to dissipation. So keep your intentions in a clear bottle And leave it in the cupboard when youre out.
We were waiting for peter, the wheeler, He comes in the morning when were fast asleep. Gives us a trip that's spending hundred years in a day, And takes a bone each from us to give to the dogs.
We count the wrinkles on the globe and tell each other, Yes, life is a helluva lot of waiting time.
Our minds are objects of constipation, Our bodies are subject to dissipation. So keep your intentions in a clear bottle And leave it on the shelf when you rap.
We were waiting for peter, the blower, He comes in when were fixing snow on rock. Gives us orange juice laced with sunshine and spring, And takes a heart each from us to give to the world.
We count the memories that are lost and tell each other, Yes, life is a helluva lot of waiting time.
Our minds are objects of constipation, Our bodies are subject to dissipation. So keep your intentions in a clear bottle Throw it in the ocean when you go.
We were waiting for peter, the weaver, He comes in a flash when were wide awake. Says the world cant give us answers cause its stuttering in its mind. Takes a head each off us to give us some peace.
We count the lights in the universe and tell each other, Yes, life is a helluva lot of waiting time.

That woman needs mental help ... After all, she keeps saying that her mind is constipated ! ;D Are you saying she needs brain bran? Maybe she should buy some Mentalmucil. -j Peter the Dealer was a well-known heroin pusher in NYC and the constipation references are about this side effect of heroin abuse. Wilson Brian Key in Media Sexploitation discusses popular song coded references to this and other physical effects of heroin ("when tears are in your eyes I will dry them all"). ACROSS THE APPROXIMATELY INFINITE UNIVERSE WITH YOKO AND CHARLIE 1971 song written and performed by Yoko Yasuda Ono. Note the Apple Yoko Ono symbol with an upside down cross --- www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRB6sL-GjfcApproximately Infinite Universe by Yoko Ono In this approximately infinite universe, I know a girl who's in constant hell. No love or pill could keep her cool, 'cause theres a thousand holes in her heart. And the wind of the past blows through her heart, Reminding her of people she killed. Wind of now blows off her cool, Telling her there's something she's missed. You know the town of Sapporo, she says, Where the men talk rough and never sing. Two bottles of loneliness Patching the holes in her dream. In this approximately infinite universe, I know a girl who's raising constant hell. No love or bottle could fix her good, cause theres a thousand holes in her head. And the wind of the future blows through her head, Saying there's no point of return. The wind of the universe blows off her soul, Telling her there's nowhere to go. I wanna sleep, wanna sleep, she says, And take her fix to bed. Two bottles of loneliness Patching the holes in her dream.
