I've recently gone on a diet and decided to eat Campbell's soup every day for dinner. On the shelf at the Safeway I saw "Pepperpot stew" and it also said "Product of Canada!" I live in California and it was the only soup that said that. I bought it of couse, hope it is delicious!

I don't know why, but that's kind of amusing. (Pepperpots...Canada, etc) I'll look for it at the supermarket, maybe I'll make a new label for Campbell's..

Is this Campbell we're referring to named William, per chance?

Pepperpot stew....sounds strange. Real quick I did a google search for pepperpot stew recipe and the first hit calls it a "low fat vegetarian dish". Is this a tribute to Bill?
