Beatlies, I know what you're talking about. I'm a long time viewer of the The King is Naked forums, so when it comes to spooky lyrics and shady conspiracies, I'm no newbie. I know every suspicious lyric in Sgt. Pepper, but I've been believing that Paul was replaced for far too long to still be spooked by anything on that album. There were a few *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* moments on the album, yes, but I personally thing that clue-wise the album is weaker then everything that came after. I mean I can personally say with utmost sincerity that on Paul's new album, he's still singing Paul is dead clues. Fantastic album, really, and I think it's very important PiD-wise. But what I'm trying to say is that Sir Paul and the rest of the Beatles kept dropping hints for years and years afterwards. I'm more concerned with the later clues than I am with Sgt. Pepper's. The White Album in particular. To me Sgt. Pepper is the most wholesome and least creepy of the post-Paul is dead recordings because it was then that they really had to put on a good show to convince everyone that this was the same Paul McCartney. Everything afterwards was composed while the band was falling apart, and they each just wrote whatever the hell they wanted and really didn't care if they were spoiling it for anyone. Sgt. Pepper is a fantastic album regardless of what may or may not be in it. Today is the 40th anniversary! Now please, I mean you no insult, beatlies; I too believe in the Illuminati and have my suspicions of the involvment of Aleister Crowley's beliefs in the making of the Beatles' music. But one thing Big Brother cannot take away from us is the enjoyment of good music. Regardless of the intention (and they were mostly good, I believe) of some of the songs on Sgt. Pepper, it is still fantastic music and anyone with their head screwed on straight can enjoy it. Please, why not do the same? I have many paranoid theories that I would like to share with everyone concerning the meanings of lyrics. I believe I have some insight to share that perhaps no one else has had yet. But I will not share that today, and I would hope that at least someone else on this board cares about the 40th anniversary of arguably the greatest Beatles album and instead of posting nasty things about Yoko (or Ferek Taylor, or Frian Epistein or whoever else has recently been transferred to the "replaced" department 'round here) would enjoy listening to it today. Honestly, I'm afraid of many things, and I believe that many conspiracies are afoot in the world, but I CAN relax and enjoy good music for a bit and I hope you do too, beatlies. Actually I don't believe in the Illuminati. The best thing about SPLHCB to me at this point is the attempts to leave clues. You don't find too many clues in Fraunk Finatra albums, unless maybe they're reeeeallly subtle. Playing Quarter to Three backwards, now that's a scary thought.

The release date of June 1 is listed in too many places to count, the business about being released ahead of schedule is a bit of a tougher nut to crack. (I'm not sure why it's all that important either) Anyway, some info from a fairly good article in Beatlefan on the 25th anniversary of Pepper, which I'll probably scan for everyone's infotainment:
April 16: A Day in the Life is broadcast in New York from a rough copy of a tape probably "passed along to friends".
May 20: ADITL is banned by the BBC for alleged drug references.
May 26: Pepper goes on sale in Britain, ahead of schedule.
May 28: The album debuted on U.S. radio stations.
June 2: The album goes on sale in the U.S.
I would theorize that the rushed schedule was in answer to the BBC ban.

For someone who has done so little real research he isn't even familiar with the actual street date of the album, where is it exactly you get off lecturing about "prejudice"? Why don't you do some homework and then report back on which songs you think FAUL was actually involved in creating and why? And don't bore us with paper-thin apocryphal tales from court historians like Davies, or expect us to take them seriously. You have no real reason to think FAUL wrote anything (or for that matter did significant singing) on the album, do you? The cabaret singer had zero leverage when he first came aboard and was hired to be little more than a pretty face. C'mon, put up, or shut up your big fat insulting gob. Your post speaks for itself, and so does mine. I don't have to do any research, I don't have to go into detail about how I think you're a bit too high strung and yet I always respected your dedicated research over the years at TKIN, or any of that other bulls**t, it's just a waste of time. I don't know where someone who runs a website like total411.info gets off being so politically correct that you could be offended by such a vague insult as "there is a fine line between paranoia and prejudice". Don't you have bigger things to worry about than what could barely be construed as an insult, something that was intended as a counterpoint opinion? Look, you haven't even seen my nasty side, nor did even get on it when basically said that Paul (yeah, I write it with a "P"---therefore, I must be a mole!) didn't write anything for Sgt. Pepper. If I was as angry as you got at me, I'd be thinking of all sorts of ways to including the words "big", "fat", and "gob" in sentences too! Look, I don't care if I'm technically "new", and you've got over a thousand posts to your name. I don't care if anyone takes your side, either. I'm not afraid to say to you that you are simply taking things a tad bit too seriously if you manage to insult both a board member and Sir Paul in the same post. C'mon, I didn't say "OMG u die an burn in hell pual is teh greatest!!1". I said "there is a fine line between paranoia and prejudice". And my statement still stands, because I'm not going to take back something that clearly wasn't an insult (a minor one at best).

You believe that Hollywood is run by Satanists, but not the Illuminati? Not trying to sound rude or anything here, but.....why not? I wish I didn't believe in the Illuminati. In fact, if someone gave me a reason to stop believing in it, then I'd sleep better at night. As it stands, I'm convinced that the New World Order will come into full effect by 2012. We're screwed, in my opinion.

I've always considered the Illuminati to be a place holder due to the fact that those "working behind the curtain" are well hidden and are so diverse we can't just point at "the Jews" or "the Masons" or whoever... I'm sure the Illuminati has agents in all areas of religion, politics, and orginizations.
Although it's easy to see why one could just say "the Masons are the enemy" because if you are a Mason you are more likely to be a more priveliged member of society. It's easy to see all the wealthy Jews running entertainment business and blame them, but the fact is it isn't any one group.

There are many groups with their own agendas, and I suppose some work closer with others while some groups are overtly hostile. Or, maybe that's covertly hostile, lol, because we don't see everything going on....... But, being a Mason, or a Jew, or a person of this or that nation or ethnicity, are but small particulars in a world governed by the pluralistic powerful. i.e. it's not who or what you are, but, rather, what your aims and objectives are and with whom you are in league........

Looks like a psychedelic, new age, new world order, all seeing eye Masonic LSD experience! When the "powers that be" were teens, 40 years ago, they were smoking, but not inhaling, or inhaling second hand pot smoke, or drifting in some LSD den..or an opium den...and that explains our current congress.... This is what they were doing 40 years ago.... Even Prince Charles dabbled in this stuff, you know it! He wants to rule the world. I remember this album came out the day my oldest brother graduated from High School. As a small child, this album just seemed to be a Wizard of Oz or Alice in Wonderland kind of thing... ...and then researching what those two stories are used for.... was this album also used in mind alterations?

Nice job as usual, Jojo. It nicely shows how the label fades to black as well.
At a glance, this looks like the iris of an eye..... Okay, I'm gonna say it, the masonic all seeing eye.... Well, you mentioned masons, it fits.

Well, you mentioned masons, it fits.
It looks like the iris of a blue eye, with spectral glowing figures prancing and dancing around the merry-go-round. I'm reminded of the "blue eye" Faul on the cover of the mono Sgt. Pepper's.

It also reminded me of a water fountain that was at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. The home of the DuPont Family..who was part of the Illuminati.
They had a fountain that was called "Eye of the Water".
The water came up through the pupil and spread over the iris.
Not that that has anything to do with Sgt Pepper, but that is what came to mind when I saw it.

The only think I'm uninformed of is this strange syntax of vague, perhaps coded statements in which you speak, TI. You waited nearly two weeks to respond to that message way up at the top of this page....yeah, you know, the one where I basically implied that I think you're a bit of a self-important spook? That one. The one where I called you out for insulting me out of the blue. The very same one you responded to yesterday in a manner in which I have yet to have even an inkling of.
So.....
I.......admitted that my opinions and insults are totally uninformed. Right. I suppose I did, because you say so! You're "in the know" about everything, so therefore you must be in the know about me and my debaucherous Faul-defending ways. Indeed! My opinions and insults are TOTALLY UNINFORMED, TOTALINFORMATION! Very relevant! You clearly keep on top of things. Now if you don't mind, I think I'll go post on a few threads that aren't dead; at the least I'll not be trying to restart a "fight" (for lack of a better term) that ended ten days ago.

I'm afraid I don't read every thread every day. There's no need to keep insulting me just because I've disproved the basis of this thread -- that FAUL had any real input into the Pepper album. You've already conceded you've done no research on the matter, after all.

You've disproved the basis of this thread--that "Faul" had any input into Sergeant Pepper---AND proved that I conceded that I had done no research? Excellent. You're becoming almost as sharp as Sun King. Keep it up and perhaps one day you too will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that JPM wrote all of "Faul"'s Beatles material years in advance and Faul hasn't the slightest bit of talent!
EDIT: You spew meaningless BS and insults and I'll throw them right back at you. You became my enemy with your very first reply, so why dig your grave even deeper?

At a glance, this looks like the iris of an eye..... Okay, I'm gonna say it, the masonic all seeing eye.... Well, you mentioned masons, it fits. I have been in awe lately over the proliferation of occult symbols in corporate logos, government seals, art, music -- everywhere. Even The Bible talks over and over about a "great mystery." It occurred to me that this whole "mystery thing," (for lack of a better conceptual name), exhibits every symptom of a mad genius wanting to get caught, dying to be found out, aching beyond all hope for the great secret to be discovered. And why? Perhaps because the only way the ego of the genius can be stroked is through recognition of its brilliance? IF a Great Mystery has been put forth for the whole world to see, (and it seems that everywhere you look there it is), and IF so much care and craft and cleverness has been invested into the Mystery, then... What GENIUS EGO could possibly stand to have that level of BRILLIANCE go unrecognized, undiscovered, and thus forever unappreciated? The EGO needs to receive accolades for its singular excellence, else it withers. I think this All-seeing Eye wants to be seen. -j
