Great interview with George, thanks for the link. Interesting how he mentions 1966 as some kind of turning point, he relates it to taking acid, but still.
The part about rewriting history is absolutely correct, he often chages minor details when retelling a story. Whether that's intentional, or he just has to carry around so many memorized facts that his recollection gets fuzzy, I don't know.

Who is Emmerson Fittipaldi anyways? The subtitles were in Portuguese, and the talk of caipirinhas for sure meant this was a Brazilian TV show. FYI, a traditional caipirinha is made with limes, sugar and of course cashasa. (a hard liquor made from sugar cane juice) I like mine with vodka better, yeah I'm a wuss.. ;D From the comments section: This video was shown in 1996, in a hommage made by SBT (a brazillian broadcast television) for Fittipaldi, after his air accident.
