Very Together was the only compilation with The Beatles early recordings as The Beat Brothers released in Canada. Although, this did not make it the interesting and collectible album that it has become. The cover featuring four candles with one snuffed out, in 1969 was taken as another clue in the ongoing "Paul is dead" hoax. I've always thought this cover was probably just a marketing stunt to sell more records by riding the coattails of the whole PID craze. It's still a nice cover thou.....

Agreed. If it came out prior to the rumors, well, that would be one thing. The fact that it was released in the midst of PID mania kind of nullifies the impact it has.
