The category was "Beatles" and one of the answers was "the bass player's wigs".
The question?
What are "Paul's falls"?
Oh, Mr. Trebek, you have NOOOO idea.
Drummer's boots from Australia. ("What are Ringo's Dingos?")
Marks on the original bass player. ("What are Stu's tattoos?")
Deep places for the guitarist. {"What are George's Gorges?")
There was one about Pete, and one about John...........i forgot.....

Uhm........no, this actually happenned on today's installment of "Jeopardy." Homes all across America tuned in to Jeopardy today and witnessed these contest questions. Perplexitudinous propundencies are coming to mainstream television!!!!! OMG this means the disease is spreading even faster and farther than we had originally feared. The CDC will have to initiate Plan B-9 much, much sooner.

Wait, you're not pulling our legs? Seriously.. I'm not sure I get this one.. Oh, sorry Jojo, it really is a reaching pun. A "fall" is a wig piece that attaches to your head, or your hair, and usually hangs down long, usually a ladies wig, not so much for men. # 3. A woman's hairpiece with long, free-hanging hair. from: www.answers.com/fall&r=67It augments one's tresses. Oh, and sadly, yes, it was a whole column on the board today. Those writers! Gosh darn those crazy guys! (And no, I do NOT know them.)

The category name must have been more than just "Beatles," though.

I was just watching a rerun of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and the supermodel week was on... ;D OK, not anything like "Paul's Falls" but the question for 125K was: "What were the original first words of Paul McCartney's Yesterday"? Of course I don't need to tell you it was "Scrambled Eggs". (in spite of the awkward phrasing of the question)
The model didn't know, so she phoned a friend who did give the right answer, but with a great deal of doubt. She then polled the audience, a completely wrong strategy, since they already heard the answer the PAF gave.. (wrong logic, but worked out anyway)
The 250K question: "What is Bart Simpson's middle name"?
50/50 didn't help, she walked.
Answer: Jo-Jo ;D
