Greets, all. I've posted a few times, but I thought I'd make it legit and post here.
I'm ZeroCorpse. I was around at TKIN for a while back in 2004, and poked around in the years after, but became disenchanted when it got too weird (Don Knotts? Faul playing three different people at once?) and when 60if went through it's dozenth major change.
I've been into the PID thing for a while-- it actually drew me further into my Beatles fandom-- and I'm fascinated by what IAAP is doing over in YouTube, even if it turns out to be something anticlimactic. It's still fun, interesting stuff.
Not to mention a little creepy. I'm always attracted to creepy mysteries!
I'm a skeptic, but I wasn't always one, and IAAP is drawing me out of my non-believer mode for some reason. In the old days I had some strong occult connections, and was "in the shadows" when it came to a celebrity occultist/psychic or two. Let's just say I've been extremely intimate with at least one person who has been on Art Bell's show, and I was the good man standing behind her when she was just starting out.
At some point, however, something clicked in my brain and I decided to take the devil's advocate stance as regards the occult world. In my opinion, there are too many "Yes" men, and not enough people challenging both sides of the spectrum. My philosophy now falls somewhere between the Amazing Randi and Mr. Crowley's. I'm most concerned with balance.
I lean toward science, but believe science can't understand some things yet. When we're confused about events, we call them magick. Once a phenomenon is broken down and measured, it becomes known as science.
I do not believe in Reptillians, although I'm open to the idea of UFOs and other species in the universe. I do not believe the Rockefellers want to put RFID chips in people; I think the Rockefellers consider us beneath their notice and not worth keeping track of. I do not believe in gods, but I do believe that higher technology or better understanding about certain sciences can give the illusion of godhood.
I'm pretty well-versed in matters of both logic and magick. I pick and choose what I believe, based on my personal experiences with both, and as I stated previously, I think Truth lies somewhere in-between.
My Avatar is related to this PID thing, in a vague way. I think I'll let you figure it out. It's not my normal avatar, but it was specially chosen for this board.
When it comes down to it, magick, NWO, and sinister plots by shadowy figures aside, I do believe the following basic facts:
1. James Paul McCartney disappeared (likely died) in 1966.
2. At least one impostor has taken his place.
3. Clues have been seeded in the Beatles' music, album covers, and other media.
4. Reverse speech is an iffy-but-possible phenomenon, in which the subconscious inserts honest words that can be heard when your speech is played in reverse.
5. There's something sinister about the man who calls himself Paul McCartney right now. Something not right.
Thanks for indulging me. I'm not dead-set in my ways. I'm ever-changing, growing, and adapting to the world I experience. If you wish to challenge my assumptions, ideas, or beliefs, then feel free to do so, but be prepared to debate properly and compellingly. Actions speak louder than words, and experiences trump actions.
