I was at the an anniversary of Woodstock and met Sid Bernstein back stage. The thing that strikes me odd about this now is that there were two groups playing there that did not play at the original fest: One was Soul Asylum. The other was The Rascals. And Sid had nothing to do with Woodstock either. He came around at the same time the Rascals did and left at the same time.
(This was not the big commercial event held elsewhere but the Original site. Many of the original artists came to Bethel to play for free.).
Probably nothing but interesting given his connection to the Beatles.

Been bringing myself up to speed on the anniversary concerts, there were of course the highly commercial '94 and '99 events. (with the '99 one being especially so) When was the one you are talking about held?
