Thanks for the link, great thread. As I was reading and looking at the photos something occurred to me, I wondered what is written on the doll's right arm. I can make out a "W" but that is about it. Shirley looks like she has a little black doll in her hand but maybe it was just part of the black background that wasn't cut out. It really makes me want to examine the other albums again or if there is anything we all missed or that is out of place. fredbals.blogspot.com/2007/02/wmps-good-guys-welcome-rolling-stones.html WMPS, a Memphis radio station. LetterB also found a NY radio station that seemed to get credit, but it looks like a WMPS to me.

I think those are red frills are part of the fabric that is 'draped' over whatever it is Shirley Temple is sitting on. Looks like the matchbox car is leaving a trail of red splotches. What is on her lap? The windshield to the car?
What is that glove? What is that black item on the index finger of the glove? What are those grey/silver marks just below the knuckle of the ring finger of the glove?
What is the RGB, red green blue? The index finger of the glove looks strange, it is almost as if the center of the material has been cut out. It is probably a coincidence, but the white skirt and dark material of the 'elderly woman's' robe/gown match up with the colors on the index finger of the glove. And there is a black jewel/rock or something (maybe just the design on the material) at the knuckle of the glove's index finger.

Thanks Iameye. There appears to be a gnome figurine near that aviator Shirley, and I think there is another one on the cover. That little figure/thing that is leaning against that other yellow thing with the M design trim... and it looks like he is sitting on something bluish-grey in color while holding a tiny transistor radio with an antenna. Too bad we can't find a sharper image that doesn't get distorted when you enlarge the image.

It looks like something unusual has been placed in front of the elderly woman's left cheek. It just doesn't look right. Interesting mirror you posted with this one. Can't really see much of that yellow object with the figurine sitting in front of it.

It looks like a 'muppet gremlin' sitting in front of the left side of her face. ;D Tug boat? What is that thing?

Ah, photo images. That close up I have no clue. It appears to have depth now and your tugboat is as good as anything, so far. It probably isn't a head as I first thought.
Is that a young Theodore Roosevelt to the far right? I'm wondering if the little short lady is supposed to be Anne Boleyn, wife of Henry VIII. Shiva is right next to the television is seems, not sure though.

A mirror image. LOL Looks like a creature or demon right out of a horror movie, Aliens or the Hellraiser series, to name a couple. Those red flower petals still resemble hearts in certain places to my eyes. Where did I place my National Health spectacles.

Not an exact fit, but since this is about Sgt Pepper, thought I'd stick it here instead of on the Beatles/Byrds thread... On Sgt Pepper Reprise, at 0:04, it sounds like John is saying "lying," does it not? And it's right while Faul is counting 1, 2, 3, 4... Just interesting... Ok I had a little dream last night...... I was "shown" that these two "still life "compositions mirror each other, for what that's worth... ;D which would include the whole drum and this: closer ( don't worry., I'm not planning to quit my day job for a career in in darkroom!) so composition wise, the "candlestick" ( seriously, does it even look remotely like a candlestick?) mirrors the swag rope of Paul's military costume, (SWAG, as in www.interiormall.com/cat/ndisplaycoll.asp?c1=Drapery&book=1726) swag example ;D I dunno what is't called.... the cor's Anglaise mirrors the "lighting bolt" ....the base of the candlestick mirrors the drum face...and the little guy on the shoulder of the "candle stick" mirrors the stone bust sporting the third eye...composition wise, that is or so it was in the dream... just a thought from a dream

Apparently Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Clube Band had an inner spread. Art work by Marijke Koger of The Fool. It looks to me like there's an empty tomb in paradise. www.simonposthuma.com/curriculum.htmWould someone like to blow this poster up?

I may detect an extra planet, or maybe our sun's nemesis, arriving with a gaggle of asteroids in tow.

It's a blue peacock standing on a white banquet table. In Pepperland.

Well, how am I suppose to know it's not a tomb with a shroud on top? I mean it's the same shape as the grave on the Sgt. Pepper cover...
Where's the food anyhow? I mean there's the peacock, owl, and parrot--all of which might make a tasty BBQ. ;D

then, again, my etymology dictionary's say different. It says cyan 1889, short for cyan blue (1879), from Gk. kyanos "dark blue, dark blue enamel, lapis lazuli," probably a non-IE word, but perhaps akin to, or from, Hittite *kuwanna(n)- "copper blue." www.paulmccartney.com/www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=cyanthat is cute! a little like a military man ;D Lovely
