Thanks for the vid. But, of course, it's the same old bill. The real dude: Happy New Year 2015 to all . Hey ! ramone, for me to Paul , 1980 in the above video is this, also in 1964 , 1:27 to 1:30 which says, " I'm not married " is the same smile and the same sarcasm . This certainly shows that did not die at least in 1966 and even before there was a "stand in" Well, at least we know John is John, eh lads?

I remember seeing an early video and John was definitely a replacement. Maybe just for that performance. I have not run across that video again. When I do I will post it. Another odd thing about is was that John was separated from the others and farthest from the camera.

Here's one more anyway. Look closely, this person resembles both Paul and John, but more John....

The cheeks look a little too puffy for John, Eyebrows are not right for Paul. The ear does seem to match some of Pauls pictures. Where did this picture come from? Any ideas on which concert/Video?

If someone else posted these pics I'd probably say 95% chance it's John if I was weighing in.
But it's not.

I think this Picture is from a tribute band. Would be great if the original poster would tell us if it is supposed to be the real John or if we passed the test and it is a known impersonator.

If someone else posted these pics I'd probably say 95% chance it's John if I was weighing in. But it's not. so both of them are fake? only way the one would be legit is if it were an actual photo from their 1966 tour in Japan then again, tribute bands are known for this sort of thing

The reason I let a little time pass was so we could come to a possible conclusion in our own minds if we felt like doing so.
I think it's a really amazing resemblance - at least from those shots and angles.
It would have been interesting to set up a poll for a couple weeks to see how many thought it was John, or not.
I think if you took these pics to the average person on the street that had knowledge of the Beatles and what they looked like then - you'd get most people saying 'of course that's John'.
In fact it is from a tribute band. Both pics.
Other angles - he's not quite as convincing, but watching the vid I was amazed - he really has John down when you see him move - even subtle things, movements, looks, expressions. Almost eerie.

No body knew what John looked like but they knew he didn't tie his shoes? Some people still think that it was Johns replacement who was killed. The replacement was the one married to Yoko. Imagine that.

Makes sense now. That was the era "Paul" looked most different from other years. Even good quality video good light and a straight face shot you still wonder just who the heck that is..

The reason I posted the pics was to see if, in general, people would think it was John. And the reason I threw it into this thread is because there are a fair amount of people that will say 'you can't find a replacement for Paul - it would be too hard to find someone that looks enough like him'. I think an example such as this 'John' lends weight to the fact that it's not really that difficult to find a good lookalike if you're motivated. And his mannerisms were dead on IMO. 'Paul, in this band, hit JPM's voice really well, too.

I keep thinking they use the same 3 or 4 guys and switch them throughout the years. If you pay attention you can see different expressions that will show up with one era and not another and then show up again when Paul get another make over. That is why I think they use the same people and switch them from time to time. Even in the Sixties in spy movies when showing a character being "Replaced" by a double the replacement would spend many hours to years studying the different little quirks in personality that the subject has. You still kind of need to look at the difference in Skull structure. and little things like the lips being too skinny in one year and wide in another year. Sometimes you can match these little quirks or expression to the face sculpture. Eg: The one with the skinny lips does ? all the time and the one with full lips does something different.... But you can go through the years and skinny lip expressions match and Full lip matches to some other quirk.

Was Paul going around telling everyone he would be the Fireman? How did Iamaphoney know about this? Paul has been The Fireman since the 1993 release of "Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest," which is 14 years before the release of the videos you have been watching on youtube. -j Lol
