GN: In your reply on May 3rd., you have a photo of Paul in what looks like an old deepsea diving suit. Do you know when that was taken and where? That could be the origin of "looking through a glass onion." Or, I've been trying to find photos of old isolation tanks w/ glass dome covers that also might be the "glass onion."

My point about the isolation tank is that John had one (I mentioned that in the Lilley's Isolation Tank post on the guest board.) In THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY, in an interview with (God hopes the real) Paul, he said that "John's, George's and my tastes were all pretty much in common. We shared our influences like mad." John could have (as they used to say) glommed onto the idea of an isolation tank, or he could have gotten one as an innocent extension of something more sinister that happened to Paul.

what I see.... All "these beatles small b" are still alive in the flesh.From right to left--- Well, this George grew up and had a nice family, the "Ashton Kutcher lookin' Ringo" got a big government job and has a great life also singing opera and such, the "paul's" very best friend, ever, the "John", well, she got married and has a real nice family, though "he" (she) was "paul's" very first girlfriend, and thing that evolved later on that very evening....into a lot of hand holding...... thats all..... the "Mal" grew up, lost a lot of weight, got "Sarah Palin" foxy and got married and has three kids and the "paul?" well he stayed in music, excelled in piano but stank at singing, and got rather corpulent. Like a fairy tale. All's well that ends well. |

Well, I'm a poor analyzer of hands. But I watched "Free as a Bird' (F.A.A.B.) and really enjoyed that video treatment of it. Great performers playing together, yet apart, from different stages, in different parts of the world, in different decades. Like Sinatra and Sting, Natalie and Nat, LaBelle and McDonald, Cher and Cher alike. And Elton at different times. And Wolf Blitzer and Larry King. Whatever. |
