Pardon the intrusion...Apollo often, if not always, made reference to the "Rosetta Stone" of clues which is Sgt. Pepper. Both in the cover art, as well as music and lyrics. The Beatles, in the works that followed, both as a band, and later on their own as solo artist, pointed a finger back at "Pepper". Lets start at the beginning, and work our way forward. Lets see if there is anything we missed. A good place to start is in a 1984 McCartney interview that is quite telling. Pay attention to the words..."It was an idea I had, I think when I was flying from L.A. to somewhere. I thought it would be nice to lose our identities, to submerge ourselves in the persona of a fake group. We would make up all the culture around it and collect all our heroes in one place. So I thought a stupid-sounding name for a Dr. Hook's Medicine Show and Traveling Circus kind of thing would be 'Sgt. Pepper's Loneley Hearts Club Band'. Just a word game, really." pov what do you mean by " FOLLOW MR.APOLLO" ? I took this to be another clue to look to Pepper for the answer, and when I do that, I always come back to Rosemary's Baby, and the Devil's Pepper that Minnie feeds to Rosemary in order to keep her sick and to induce the hallucinatory state that allowed Guy to consumate the devil's "realationship" with her to bring about Lucifer's spawn. It was 20 years ago today Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play Which brings us to Crowley, who died 20 years prior to the release of Pepper, and who called himself the Beast 666, and is on the cover of Pepper, yadda, yadda, yadda. Mia ( Pharaoh) Farrow played Rosemary, and was with the Beatles in India. Crowley wrote The Book of the Law in a fit of automatic writing after visiting the Egyptian pyramids, at the behest of a spirit called Aiwas ( i Was you). Rosemary's Baby was directed by Polanski, whose wife was Sharon Tate, who was pregnant when she was murdered by the Manson family in Doris Day's old house. Lennon was quoted as saying that the Beatles stayed "at Doris Day's house (Terry Melcher was her son, who produced Manson's music), so it seems more than possible that the Beatles could have met Manson. The Tate murder scene had Helter Skelter and Piggies written on the wall in blood. A door at the Spahn Ranch had 1 2 3 4 5 6 7, All good children go to Heaven written on it, and was dicovered BEFORE the release of Abbey Road.Manson claimed that he was inspired by the song Helter Skelter. Rosemary's Baby was shot in the Dakota.Lennon lived in, and was shot in front of the Dakota. Rosemary's Baby was about an artist who sold his soul in order to facilitate the birth of Lucifer's spawn. There are lots of clues pointing to McCartney selling his soul in order to facilitate the birth of Lucifer's spawn. Kenneth Anger's Lucifer Rising has a few of these clues. I could go on, but you get the picture, and I'm certain that most of you are already familiar with all or at least most of this. This is why I haven't posted much recently. In my mind, THIS is mostly what we were supposed to have figured out, and we DID figure it out. And since there's nobody to say "great work - you've figured it out!", I'm afraid that we're destined to keep coming back to the same old photo comparisons, and name-calling between competing forum supporters, and the like. So anyway. This is what I think POV was telling us, iameye... ;D

I am not sure that I would agree with it. And on an unrelated note, I am totally on board with the idea that Pepper may depict a gypsy funeral, among other things, as was suggested by 8749 here: invanddis.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Clues&action=display&thread=5635

If we assume that Anger was implying that SOMEONE was sacrificed and was reborn as Lucifer, then it's certainly NOT a stretch to carry it one step further to substitute Crowley (the Beast) for Lucifer, so that we have: Paul sacrificed, and Faul begotten as Lucifer (Crowley), or the risen son of Lucifer (Crowley). In the film, the sacrifice seems to begin in a bathtub: Here's Paul from the White Album poster: Here we have Eight Arms To Hold You, from Lucifer Rising: Compared to Eight Arms To Hold You, from the SACRIFICE scene in HELP!: And incidentally, Anger worked with Bobby Beausoleil, who was a member of the Manson family. And speaking of Lucifer... "Nothing Too Much Just Out Of Sight" Lyrics "Nothing too much just out of sight You say you love me This is true The best thing to do Is to lie down beside me I said I love you Nothing too much just out of sight
I said I love you I thought you knew The last thing to do was to try to betray me The NEW MORNING LIGHTI'll never forget it, and that's just out of sight"The remainder is pretty indecipherable. Until the spoken outro where he rather demonically says: "The last thing to do was to try to betray me"So anyway, you all know the drill by now, but here's a refresher: Venus = the morning star = Lucifer = NEW MORNING LIGHT and apparently THAT'S JUST OUT OF SIGHT A'hem. There's more, but I need to dig through my Mac at home to find it.

"Daddy’s home!"
The youngster ran through the front lawn past the holly bush, jumped off the curb, tripped, and fell down hard on the pavement. When he got up his right hand was completely covered with blood.
Khephri screamed with all his might.

So I thought a stupid-sounding name for a Dr. Hook's Medicine Show and Traveling Circus kind of thing would be 'Sgt. Pepper's Loneley Hearts Club Band'. Just a word game, really." The "game " begins... POV FYI Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show Who Are They? Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show got their start around 1968 playing the bar circuit in and around Union City, New Jersey. Originally, they were comprised of five people, most notably Ray Sawyer on vocals and guitar and Dennis Locorriere on lead and vocals. Sawyer's trademarks were the cowboy hat and the eyepatch, the result of an automobile accident in 1967. Locorriere was bearded. Both guys were the center of the group because of their crazy antics onstage. Their energy, strange sense of humor (they once appeared as their own opening act!) alternating with the ability to pull off an emotional ballad made Dr. Hook one of the most successful bands in the 1970s, scoring 35 gold or platinum hits. What Does This Have to Do With Shel Silverstein? The story of how Silverstein and Dr. Hook started a very successful collaboration can be found in more detail in the November 9, 1972 article of Rolling Stone magazine (see link below). In brief, Ron Haffkine was overseeing the musical production on the 1971 movie Who Is Harry Kellerman And Why Is He Saying All Those Terrible Things About Me?, for which Silverstein was writing the songs. Haffkine was searching for the right group to interpret Silverstein's songs, but had proved unlucky in his search until the manager of Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show contacted Haffkine about taking on the group. Haffkine listened to Dr. Hook's demo, loved it, and promptly pitched it to a prominent official at Columbia Records, who also liked what he heard. Silverstein also heard the demo and decided to fly to New Jersey to hear the group in action. Obviously convinced, Dr. Hook recorded all the songs for Kellerman and began work on their first album, which was written entirely by Silverstein. A single from the album, "Sylvia's Mother," was so popular that it shot to #1 on the pop charts all over the world and was played endlessly on AM radio. Silverstein contributed all the songs to Dr. Hook's followup album, Sloppy Seconds, and in the years that passed the group would continue to sing and record more Silverstein songs. What's the Group Doing These Days? Sadly, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, after weathering instant stardom, bankruptcy, several comebacks, much touring, a lawsuit by their former drummer Jay David, and a fall into meaningless gigs to pay the bills, finally broke apart in 1985. Sawyer currently resides in Nashville with his wife and children, as does Locorriere. Sawyer formed an R&B-themed group that toured for a while in the 1980's. According to Dr. Hook fan Andy May, Sawyer now tours under the name "Dr. Hook"--though he has to license the name from Dennis Locorriere. Locorriere was a backup singer for Randy Travis over a decade ago, and in 1989 he was the lone actor in the production of Silverstein's epic poem The Devil and Billy Markham. Since then, he's done some touring in Europe and has released some solo albums, the most recent being "Running with Scissors". As for the other members of the group, the drummer, John Wolters, died of cancer in 1997. Rik Elswit does a lot of guitar related reviews for a guitar store in San Raphael, CA & plays in a new band with David Gans & The Broken Angels. Jance Garfat evidently has email, but that is as yet unconfirmed. And it is not really known what George Cummings, Billy Francis are up to. It is doubtful that the group will be getting back together soon. On a personal note, I am very glad to have discovered the music of Dr. Hook. I haven't listened to many of their songs, but the ones I have are almost all winners. Admittedly, I haven't decided if it is due to Dr. Hook's interpretational skills or to Silverstein's songwriting skills, but then again, I'm happy I don't have to make that distinction. I don't think anyone was "sacrificed" in any of these water scenarios, McCartney, Crowley, Anger, Brittany etc... in any "real" way because it is impossible to achieve such a thing. Per Se. And certainly Crowley, as much as his ego would have liked it, was NOT the Beast or Lucifer. What he did try to accomplish, though, was to force events through less than savory "practice" . In his mind, I guess he felt free from any remorse for his choices, citing "free will" for the cause, or 911 mindset, acting as catalyst. Polanski, is another water-bearer in several films ( plus a real life Jacuzzi scene) Nóz w wodzie/Knife in the Water (1962 Poland 94 mins) At the same time, Polanski litters these exterior scenes with wide shots that emphasis the ominous and oppressive sense of isolation that one inevitably feels in the middle of a vast body of water, encouraging an uneasy tension between these and the claustrophobic close-ups. This sense of isolation is heightened by the increasingly noticeable absence of other people in the pictureSo all this water and rebirth symbolism takes place though a medium - water. iameye said: "I don't think anyone was "sacrificed" in any of these water scenarios, McCartney, Crowley, Anger, Brittany etc... in any "real" way because it is impossible to achieve such a thing."I disagree, iameye. I think that the natural state of the universe involves the recycling of souls. I also think that the universe runs on a basic set of rules, involving numbers, mathematics, geometry, and a fundamental concept of polarity. I further believe that some people have figured out how to manipulate these rules, and that this is what we call magick. It was through this magick that Faul was reborn as Crowley. After all, he IS the son of the magickian, no? And while I'm at it and have a bit of time, I'll throw out another Rosemary's Baby connection. Near the end of the film when the very pregnant Rosemary is in the waiting room of her obstetrician, she's reading the famous Is God Dead? edition of Time Magazine, from April 8, 1966. The title story is called Toward a Hidden God, and is 11 pages long, natch. On page 11, there's this very interesting obituary for god: "ATLANTA, Ga., Nov. 9—God, creator of the universe, principal deity of the world's Jews, ultimate reality of Christians, and most eminent of all divinities, died late yesterday during major surgery undertaken to correct a massive diminishing influence. "Reaction from the world's great and from the man in the street was uniformly incredulous . . ." www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,835309-11,00.html I ONE IX HE<>DIE or possibly 11/9 ( Nov. 9) he die. Since Rosemary is carrying Lucifer's spawn while she's reading this magazine, in a movie that has all of the other connections that I pointed out earlier, this is another link between Rosemary's Baby, Sgt. Pepper, and Lucifer reborn.

Last time I checked, Penny, men can't give birth....
I'm not saying the" rules" can't be interpreted or even used beneficially to some degree by those who look into these matters, or/if that reincarnation exists or not.
I was just saying that practitioners of the "occult" ways are generally unaware of how to actually use this information, and things basically slip into the deep end of profound ignorance and misunderstanding. It's not magic(K) at any point and more of a crutch to "do as thou wilt" or worse, used to propel a certain agenda, justifying action though "Magik."
Perhaps Macca studied Crowley, but I doubt he is or would even want to be Crowley. Crowley, for all his outrageous pomp and circumstance, boils down to he just being a doorway to something else - which is the part of the story most people just don't get.

The prophets seem to be telling us that it's Crowley's (who was possibly the embodiment of Lucifer) soul.

You say that in such an unqualified, matter of fact manner. The soul needs two parents; says who??? iameye said: "who's soul? who's soul would be so desirable?"I've already answered this question. The prophets seem to be telling us that it's Crowley's (who was possibly the embodiment of Lucifer) soul. Yes in my most "unqualified, matter of fact manner" I say so. Crowley even says so. But Crowley never could be the embodiment of "Lucifer" , nor do I see any prophets say this, so I suggest you reread what he actually wrote. I mean that in the most nicest, sincere way. Because it's all there, in B & W.

Incidentally, by "unqualified", I meant that you weren't qualifying your statement with a phrase such as "in my opinion", NOT that you are not qualified to speak on the topic. And I've read lots of Crowley. Can you tell/show me where he says what you claim he says, in B & W? Book, chapter, page? Link? Oh, and please explain why you posted the jelly fish crop circle in this thread, in response to my post.

Crowley is dead. The living need livers. Does anybody want to guess what happens when you eat the whole Pepper? The window has been open since November, and now the May sun is behind us. The signs, the symbols, and the math are all there. Look again.
Funny that I am the cracker with all the six six sixes, isn't it?
Call me Thomas Covenant.

If you take the lyrics to Mother Lucy as originally printed, including the title, and remove all of the punctuation and spaces you get 667 letters.
The trick is guessing the extra letter.
