Well, BeatleBill er, uhm, Paul is coming to Atlanta to play a benefit to help save Atlanta's most historic public park--Pidmont Park. Oh, no sorry, I left out an "e".
It's "Piedmont Park", or Foothill Park if you will.
Well goll-dern it I'm thrilled and I'm goin'. I have invited a passel of people, who know of my interest in matters PID-ical but don't believe a word of it. Still, they love me, and will no doubt come, as will legions of fans of McCartney and also dyed in the wool
Confederate (!!!) supporters of all things historical in Atlanta, including this Piedmont Park, whose origins come from a famous Southern Exhibition held in 1890 or so on a
hillside in the Ansley Park area of town. It's not as large as Central Park in NYC, but it's
at least half the area or greater, and comes with much history.
Those of you in the South should drive in and attend! I'll save a spot on the grass for you. I'll be wearing a hideous blue shirt and train conductor cap----oh, hell, you all know what I look like sort of. Well, I may post a picture made in the last decade at least so you can pick me out of the madding crowd.......
lol forget it
Just come and enjoy the show!
For all others, photos and commentary will be posted later that night from my cell in the Atlanta Detention Center. No really I hate to draw attention to myself. I promise to behave. I've already cautioned my friends not to even bring PID up. lol Not even a word!
I just think he's a total hero for doing a show benefiting a site that is near and dear to the heart of Atlanta.
