" Take a sight o' this, you hearty colliers: see what they've brought you. You can match it up with Billy's. Last night there were four o' these walking, weren't there? Well, this morning there's three. They buried the other one in Ma Hitchcock's midden. Go on, ask 'em why!
HURST. He's a deserter, is why!
ANNIE (holding up the tunic). Hey, here's the little hole where they let in the bayonet. Eee, ale, easily in. His blood's on my tongue, so hear what it says. A bayonet is a raven's beak. This tunic's a collier's jacket. That scarecrow's a birdcage. What more do you want!
WALSH. Is this what she says true? Where is he, the fourth of you?
MUSGRAVE. He was killed, and that's all. By an accident killed. It's barely materi --
ATTERCLIFFE. Oh, it's material. And no goddamned accident. I said it to you, Musgrave, it washes it all out."

Your blood-red rose is withered and gone And fallen on the floor: And he who brought the apple down Shall be my darling dear. For the apple holds a seed will grow In live and lengthy joy To raise a flourishing tree of fruit For ever and a day. With fal-la-la-the-dee, toot-a-ley, For ever and a day.
They're going to hang us up a length higher nor most appletrees grow, Serjeant. D'you reckon we can start an orchard? The End for the complete text, send me a message!

The PARDES is the orchard. It's got everything you need. Exactly. STILL not convinced? John and Ringo were of the 1st generation of British kids not having to go to the army, and they were very much aware of that. I see it mentioned in interviews time after time. That fact was very important to the formation of The Beatles. On the other hand, here they are, young lads of around 18, in Germany. A country that only twenty years ago was the ultimate enemy. Relying on their skill operating this....equipment But they weren't there to KILL the fascists, were they? They went over there to entertain, not fight. Nevertheless, The outcome: Then comes the "British Invasion". Guitars, amps. "Helmets" of hair. Mop-Tops, the new "Roundheads". But under the hair, were they not "Soldiers of the Queen"?

In 1967, when The Beatles had to pose for the photograph for the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band cover, Lennon asked Mona if he could borrow the war medals her father had been given in India to wear for the photo session. Although still upset at the way her son was dismissed from The Beatles, Mona agreed, and the medals were then returned, along with a Cash Box trophy that is in the letter 'L' of THE BEATLES flower-sign on the cover.John could have given Mona anything as a gift of gratitude; he probably chose the Cash Box trophy because Mona ran the Casbah. -j

Bloody over-sized Daleks. but look! there's hope: "..there are reports of growing strife among Syrian army officers on different levels - with suggestions that some soldiers have changed sides and are now fighting with the people of Deraa" Go on Boys!

Well, I guess you are alluding to the Last Supper
All the beetles were invited but failed to show.
No big deal. We have their credit card numbers and there will be a service charge for dishonoring the reservation.

We have their credit card numbers and there will be a service charge for dishonoring the reservation. Dishonoring a reservation for dinner does, I believe play a MAJOR part in this story, albeit, in a place far far removed from the sandy tablecloths of Yehuda. And some centuries later, too.
