While feeling under the weather, I spent most of my Sunday watching various documentaries on the Titannic and among many strange thoughts that came to mind, there was shown a letter from the White star Lines, who owned the Titannic, sent a generic letter to the lead musician that the family owed the company the cost of the lost uniform. What a piece of work, sending a bill to the family of someone who died in that wreck.... I do believe there was something rotten in Denmark that hitting an iceberg from the side would cause it to snap in two, and the debris scattered over a 15 square miles in the bottom of the ocean over 2 1/2 miles deep....pieces that were as high as a 3 story building had been recently discovered.... Amazing speeding up while being warned of going through an area of icebergs......Who was in charge here? Captain Kangaroo?

Just about. The captain had already banged up the Olympic so badly, that they nailed the "Titanic" sign over it, and sent it to out be sunk by "accidentally" hitting an iceberg. I posted the documentary somewhere in the "You Read it Here First" thread. The White Star line had magnanimously arranged to have a rescue ship nearby, but the Titanic wasn't where it thought it was, so the rescuers couldn't see it or find it.

The rescue ship sent to where they thought the Titannic was....
I shudder to think who was operating the "rescue ship".....Shirley Temple? They mistakenly thought this was the Good SHIP lollypop....
I'm getting delirious...too much caffeine and it's clearing the fog...or perhaps fogging the "clearing"....lost in the fog and hit an iceberg.....from the side and it caused the ship to split in half the from top to bottom...
Talk about shoveling a great deal of BULL....
