I have a theory about Dear Prudence that supports the ASSUMED meaning of Paperback Writer- that Paul was replaced but didn't die. So the whole meaning of Dear Prudence is for Prudence to "come out and play", but around this time the Beatles relationship with Faul was strained. So what if this was John telling Paul to replace Faul?
I'm not saying you have to agree with me on this, but this is just my theory, unless someone else has the same theory. I'm a newcomer to the whole PID thing so I'm not sure which theory is true and which one's not. But I'm going with the "Paul was just replaced" thing because I think that the theory of being of Paul dying to be possible, but I think it sounds -a bit- less plausable.

This Day is Paul history. prudence (n.) mid-14c., "wisdom to see what is virtuous, or what is suitable or profitable," from Old French prudence (13c.), from Latin prudentia "foresight, sagacity," contraction of providentia "foresight" (see providence). Secondary sense of "wisdom" (late 14c.) now only in jurisprudence. providence (n.) late 14c., "foresight, prudent anticipation," from Old French providence (12c.), from Latin providentia "foresight, precaution," from providentem (nominative providens), present participle of providere (see provide). Providence (usually capitalized) "God as beneficient caretaker, I did come out to play. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_of_Providenceand four sight lol

Yes. Yes. You healed the sick, cured the blind and talked in parables - lest anyone realize that you have nothing to contribute, besides your own bloated ego.

“…the day you eat of the fruit you will surely die.” and GOOD old boys were DRINKING whiskey a go go and rye Dear Prudence was written for Prudence Farrow, who accompanied the Beatles in India, along with her sister Mia Farrow. Wendy in The Shining (1980) Mark David Chapman & Lennon (1980) Author Stephen King says he got the idea for the name from Lennon's song Instant Karma, which contains the line, "We all shine on, like the moon and the stars and the sun." Crushed red Beetle in The Shining Redrum scene from MMT with sign containing MDC (Mark David Chapman) Remember, the film was released exactly 13 years before John's death. the Magical Mystery Tour album can also be seen in Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange. on top of the shelf. "Lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void, It is shining, it is shining."from Tomorrow Never Knows, inspired by The Tibetan Book of the Dead. This time a white Beetle as seen on the Abbey Road album cover. This is a scene from Rosemary's Baby which was filmed right near where Lennon was shot 12 years later. (not to mention the myraids of other ways this film connects with the Beatles/Manson/Kubrick. Here is just one of the visual connections). Rosemary's Baby director Roman Polanski's wife Sharon Tate and her unborn son (Paul) were murdered by Manson's followers who cite The White Album as a strong influence on their beliefs. The Abbey Road photos were taken on August 8th 1969, the day before Tate's murder. Some researchers have discovered that Rosemary's Baby syncs up with The White Album, in the same way that Wizard of Oz syncs up with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. In the film, Rosemary wears a 'devil's pepper' around her neck. Getting to the Sgt. Pepper drum. The alphabetical position of the letters L and H (Lonely Hearts) is 12 and 8. Which by the way also happens to be December 8th It's also interesting that the Catholics celebrate The Feast of the Immaculate Conception (Mary's baby) on December 8th, the day Lennon was shot. Incidentally, Paul's mom was named Mary. Rosemary's baby was essentially the Moonchild based on Crowley's book of that name. The moon landing was on July 20th 1969, just weeks before Tate's and her unborn baby's murder. (Tying back into the Aurora shooting on July 20th etc.) Sean Lennon sings back-up on a song titled Moonchild by Cibo Matto. The refrain of which is " Come together, do you know what you're doing, baby?" In Come Together, it sounds like John is saying "shoot me." John Smith (British) of the New England Patriots was getting ready to kick a field goal when Howard Cosell announced Lennon’s shooting on national television. Instead of winning the game, Smith’s kick was blocked, disappearing into the aqua and orange of Miami's defensive line. In Revolution #9, we hear a crowd chanting “Hold that line! Block that kick!” sports.espn.go.com/espn/otl/news/story?id=5880125“I was upset and mad because we didn't make the kick, and I was also thinking, 'What the heck happened up front with our offensive line?'" recalled Smith. Also interesting that John Smith was British and a huge Beatles fan. overlaphotel.blogspot.com/2013/07/lennon-in-rye.html-- The 7 Seas of Rhye 7 veils of Rhea/Isis Blue-skinned Queen. “Storm the master marathon” Under Pressure - With David Bowie

Sometimes a cigar is just that, a cigar. Blending fact and fiction does not make a new reality. Put away your Tarot deck and rejoin the lemmings where you belong. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is King. Who is that behind those Foster Grants? It's easy!

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is King. Who is that behind those Foster Grants? It's easy! Sometimes a pipe is just a pipe! La Trahison Des Images by Rene Magritte translation: “this is not a pipe” The Listening Room Le Prêtre Marié Son Of Man Le Jeu De Mourre Painting given to Paul by friend and art dealer Robert Fraser. Le Blanc-Seing Why do some people get so bent outta shape anytime someone suggests there might be a slight possibility that those with esoteric knowledge just might be slipping some of their symbolism into mainstream entertainment? I don't do this for cheap thrills or to instill fear (as others have suggested). I'm just showing what I see, in hopes that others (with something useful to say) can shed more light on the big picture. There's too many uncanny connections going on for it to be mere coincidence. Why, what & who, I don't know. “If one were to write off many of these connections in the view that they are 'only' coincidental, one would not be realizing that by taking such a position one is in fact making a much further out claim by doing so.” Red Rum (bay gelding; 3 May 1965 - 18 October 1995; sire: Quorum, dam: Mared) was a champion Thoroughbred racehorse who achieved an unmatched historic treble when he won the Grand National in 1973, 1974 and 1977, and also came second in the two intervening years. As well as his unprecedented record in the world-famous steeplechase, a notoriously difficult race that has been referred to as being "the ultimate test of a horse’s courage", Red Rum was also renowned for his remarkable jumping ability (he fell only once in over 100 races). The Killing by Stanley Kubrick Indeed the phrase is "shoot me". Wasn't really a request. "Yes I'm lonely, wanna die" did not lead to John shooting himself. invanddis.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=7251"The Road to the Western Lands is devious, unpredictable; today's easy passage may be tomorrow's death trap. The obvious road is almost always the fools road, and beware the middle roads; the roads of moderation, common sense, and careful planning; however there is a time for planning, moderation, and common sense." -William S. Le Blanc-Seing I'm sure it's quite possible, likely even, that one influenced the other and there is no connection, but seeing that immediately brought to my mind this old cover of a fairly well-known fantasy novel:

The Hermit tarot card is attributed to the virtue of prudence in most decks. It is also ruled by the Zodiac of Virgo. "Dear Prudence" written for Prudence Farrow who would not come out of her tent... much like a hermit. Coaxing one's prudence and chastity to come out and play. Also notice that it is card #9

I wonder if Catcher in the Rye is a wink to the Thoth Hermit card. The Hermit represents the Hebrew letter Yod, which means hand. One catches things with the hand. He is also encircled by stalks of wheat. He holds, or catches, the lantern in the rye, which contains the Sun/Tiphareth. The Hermit's cloak is even the same color as the book cover.

Jung's Red Book seen in The Shining, before it was published. “And though she feels as if she’s in a play… she is anyway.” Sarah is the walrus the Thoth Hermit also reminds me of the Jedi, Kit Fisto (fist/hand). The Hermit card is associated with the Hebrew letter Yod, which means hand, more particularly, fist. Kit Fisto being a pupil of YODa’s.

encircled by wheat stalks. Ergot fungus, one of the key ingredients of LSD, grows on wheat.Osiris is the Egyptian god of the dead and of crops. He is sometimes depicted with wheat growing from his body. Wheat is a commonly referred to symbol for death and rebirth, as is Osiris. What was one of the first things McCartney did publicly in 1967? Confessed to using LSD. "We'll all be Magick Supermen."
