Hi theroller! My parents lived in Naples for awhile; my dad was stationed there when he was in the Navy. I've never been there though. But when my sisters were little they'd chase all the pigeons in the square!

There are a lot of things to tells about Napoli. Unlucky it's considered only for bad situations in the city,also in Italy. If you speak about Camorra,you speak about Napoli,but if you speak about pizza,obviously you speak about Italy (pizza was born in Naples,and only here you can eat the REAL pizza) If you speak about garbage,you speak about Naples,but Sorrentino...obviously is Italian,not Napoletano. This is the destiny of this city.It was the capital of "Regno delle due Sicilie" in the middle of 1800,before Garibaldi unified Italy.It was also the capital of Art in Europe. Here the citizens speaking a sort of slang,in Italian we say "dialetto".Well,we say "vir Nap'l e pó muor",translated is "See Naples and then die" Because it's a wonderful city. Attachments:
