I am not aware of any evidence to suggest that he ever was used, or considered, as a Paul replacement.

no match. the jpm look-a-like in the third pic, fresh from the plastic surgeon, and first pic, fattened up for its new role, is paul's replacement, or, one of them. thank you john lennon for keeping the beatles' true fans apprised of the facts about the loss of paul and his replacement by bungalow, and the subsequent and disgraceful way bungalow played the part. look at the pics

perhaps, a musician did replace the beatle paul, and, based on imagining what he looked like pre-op, bungalow's sartorial disposition, and bungalow's musical contributions, there's a better possibility it was this guy: he was the drummer for 'the archies' in case you don't know your rocknroll
