I think I've found a video of one of the Paul's fake ears falling off.
Put this on quarter speed (gear icon -> speed -> 0.25) from about 00h:04m:55s to about 00h:05m:03s.
The section in question is an extreme close up on a '63 "Paul" performing. By the time the frame fades to the next title card, Paul's right ear appears to be dangling below his jaw line.
This "Paul" looks to me like the same one from the India trip with the super jacked up teeth and bargain bin ears.
Earlier in the video you can watch a different "Paul" in '62 @ The Cavern, the same '63 "Paul" in '64 using headphones by holding them to his "ears" and John out of his gourd on speed through various appearances.
