"Before September of 1966 the intense friendship shared by the the members of The Beatles, especially John and Paul was apparent in almost every photograph, video and movie. There was an essential energy that was created by the combination of the four lads from Liverpool. The four together, The Beatles, had a chemistry that seemed as strong as a physical force. They generated excellence and magnificence.
After September of 1966 the chemistry of the group changed drastically. Everything was recorded behind closed doors in the studio. In combination with developing unique sounds in the studio there was another reason. The spontaneous interaction and mutual admiration disappeared. It was apparent even in controlled photo shoots and videos that something was missing. The friendship transitioned to a partnership. The public was generally unaware of the real reason that the Beatles never toured again. *This is not the only evidence that provides a proof, but it is one part of a list of arguments.* James Paul McCartney was dead with no acknowledgment of the death and he had been replaced by an impostor who claimed his name and his identity."Clare Kuehn www.facebook.com/groups/paulisdeadworkgroup/permalink/1826973290926680/11/9/66 - Sept 11, '66 using British date-writing or possibly Nov 9, '66 using US date-writing

If one really considers the whole "not touring anymore" and the reasons given to fans it doesn't really make sense on the face of it. What Record Company and it's managers would allow any huge cash generating band just stop touring? Why would any company or manager be alright with losing the potential generation of millions of dollars generated from touring and the publicity it generates for the band itself and its record label? Has any other record company in the history of Rock allowed its biggest bands to stop touring just because the group couldn't deal with it anymore? The only time a record company allows a group to stop touring is when the band itself is breaking up or has broken up.
The only logical explanation IMHO is that something happened {PID} and that the record company along with its manager saw that by replacing Paul they could not risk the fans discovering it and had to keep Faul isolated until his transformation was fully achieved {by learning to play Left handed and the surgeries and injections had been completed}. The record companies saw this as better than losing everything when it came to the money generated by the group...i.e. they could do without the extra money generated from touring as long as they still made lots of money from new studio albums, merchandising and films.
It is also curious to note how during the Let It Be Sessions that Faul's desire to tour was largely shut down by the rest of The Beatles...but once the band broke up that they all started doing live performances again with their solo careers. Were the rest of The Beatles still frightened by the prospect that Faul would be outed as a fraud by fans? What else explains this resistence to tour again with Faul but not as solo artists?

The only thing that has made me doubt the September 11 date is Paul's appearance with Ringo on the 13th at the Melody Maker Awards show. Something about the pictures and the event itself seems like a rushed PR stunt to me...the reactions of Paul and Ringo seem a little unnatural to me...almost as if they were rehearsed or something.
The Melody Maker Awards pics creep me out and just give me an uncomfortable feeling when I look at them. But IMHO...something is off about that so-called Awards show...I have doubts it even happened.

Yes...I have always suspected that the Awards show may have taken place earlier than claimed and that it was indeed used as a lame PR stunt that was rushed out to cover up the car accident and fans in London wondering where Paul was. Apple Scruffs were probably like...where the hell is Paul? Thanks for that link Jake....great stuff!
