WOW!! now that is beautiful.... did it say who the artist is? Oh ya.. it's by Marco-Ventura. I'm not a big fan of "photo-realism" painting, but this one is pretty good. And yer also gonna love my new one in the works. But ya can't see it till it's done! Simple title... "John & Paul" I'm working off one of the pics from the vintage magazines. Hows that for a tease..........

[glow=red,2,300]John Lennon/Yoko Ono Double Fantasy (Geffen Records BAN 99131[/glow] [glow=red,2,300]The first edition of the album had a note in hebrew saying: "The last album of John Lennon". There were a lot of protests and bad reviews about that because people wanted the cover in its original form, without the note. So it was removed from the next editions.[/glow]

It's nice to see the vintage John Lennon, pre Yoko days. Seems like a different man before 1966. From wide eyed youth to serious artist/activist. What a life!

Yoko did a number on him, alright.

This is a sobering look of a man who has aged a great deal in a short amount of time, separation anxiety, depression, anger and grief can do more harm than drugs, but with the combination, this is a sad reminder of the loss of a old friend and close partner in music.

The penultimate one looks weird! What's going on there? It looks 2D somehow...

The second one looks weird too in that it strays a litttle too far from the features-cluster of John faces that we're used to. He seems to have a uni-eyebrow.
