Who is Iamaphoney? - Paul McCartney Ambigram

Can someone here tell me why, on the official website of "Iamaphoney" (the creator of the Rotten Apples),

there is an ambigram in which you can read "Iamaphoney"
and if you rotate the image 180 ° you can read "Paul McCartney"

Could they be the same guy??

They could be!
There is an interesting discussion at the iamaphoney facebook page about this. (It is a closed group.)
Someone there [not me] wanted to know the following:

"Who is the phoney?...
Paul or William?

The ambigram on the official website of Iamaphoney states "Paul McCartney".
The user "Iam Iachimoe" who in reverse (audio) is "Paul McCartney" has the face of Billy Martin who is
Iamaphoney's face (as I have been told).
What I don't understand is if it's Paul or Will who is behind all this.
Maybe Macca was always William.
Or maybe William is Macca from some time on until now.
Anyway...
I'm sure of this! "IAMAPHONEY" is in the hands of one of these two.

That is an interesting question, and the cast of characters involved with 'iamaphoney' and 'the rotten apple' series gets confusing!

I don't know about backwards, but forwards it sounds like what is said is: "Lack of Ian, like the war between us.".
Of course, Paul used the pseudonym "Ian Ichimoe". It's supposedly meant to be “Paul McCartney” phonetically backwards.
