Does anyone know where the story originated that Paul’s fingerprints from his Japanese drug bust didn’t match those from an early 1960s passport? I find this very compelling - and seemingly irrefutable evidence for the PID/PWR case. But, there doesn’t appear to be any reliable source to attribute - no news articles, leaked documents, first-hand accounts, etc. Do we have anymore info than what gets reprinted in books and online?

None that I know of, but what is the problem with books? Most authors research their material, and the publishers' lawyers check the manuscripts before the books see the light of day.
