The "Memoirs of Billy Shears" book by Thomas Uharriet has always covered its arse legally by claiming to be fiction, so this new series of videos released under the name of "The Memoirs of Paul McCartney" (apparently by Mr. Uharriet), is a bit of a surprise to me. There is no way, under that name, that they could be exempt from a legal challenge to their authenticity, if they weren't legit, so their release is a brave step forward in the reveAling of Paul having been replaced, imo. Furthermore, they seem to be related to the Billy Shears memoirs - direct quotes from the book and so forth, so the link is inescapably there. They are just awful! Clearly "Billy" resented the task of taking on the identity of Paul on a gut level that he himself is probably not even aware of. Throughout the book he disses Paul, then effectively calls Jane Asher an air-head in this resentful summation of his career. Far be it from me to say I would have done any better, having never been put in that spot, but - yikes! - what a rant! A no class, vindictive piece of "poetry" that we are expected to appreciate as William finally getting his day in the sun? No, this is a display of an out-of-balance ego.
