Can you say a bit more about what makes you think that? For me the melodic and harmonic sophistication is beyond the other Beatles' scope, & unlike anything in solo McCartney.

Yes, the contract was sold in 2008 for £240k and you can see it here. The lawyer who drew it up is interviewed here. The signatures are very clear and could be worth comparing with later ones. No idea who SunKing is - I've only discovered PID very recently. I should say rediscovered, as I remember a friend telling me when Abbey Road came out that the album cover contained clues about Paul's death. I wasn't interested at the time, and only remembered what she said this year. bass

Hi, I've just discovered this fascinating PID/PIA theme in the last couple of months so I don't have much to offer except I remember going off the fab four in 1967, when I was 14. Just lost interest. I didn't even listen to the Sgt Pepper album until a gf played it to me in 1971. Funny that as I'm a musician, classical and pop and my interest has always been the music first and the people second. So my question for today is, who wrote the music for Fool on the Hill? Musicologists believe it's one of PM's career best, up there with the 65-66 ballads.

Is there a way to dig up old posts from years ago ? I'd like to reread any posts from someone who posted a handful of times years ago. His forum name was Big GM. He didn't stay around long, and I think he may have deleted his own posts ? Whispers were that he was George Martin. The same goes for posts from Apollo C Vermouth. He had some dandy posts way back when. It was thought he was Neil Aspinall. Is there any way to unearth either of their writings ? I think I remember you saying that you had some private PM's from ACV. Is there any way you'd consider sharing them ? Thank you kindly jojo. Randomly clicking over at TKIN this morning, I found someone who claimed previously to have posted as your Big GM and I remembered your post from yesterday. 60if.proboards.com/thread/2701/sun-king-heroThanks for recommending the BNE site which I looked at yesterday for the first time. Well observed but undermined by the owner's illuminati cloning obsession, so I won't be posting there. My problem with the PID '66 replacement is the same - there were multiple stand-ins all along, as allowed for in the original contract with Epstein. The Paul who received the MBE and was photographed outside the palace in 1965 was easily as tall as G & J, and a ringer for one of the post '66 Pauls. Was a photo taken when they signed the contract in '61?
