Maybe they sent Faul to that trip to prepare him for what would come, I think it wasnt easy to be a Beatle and replace Paul McCartney. But i dont know, I think theres too much more behind this trip

So how could JoJo has this "top secret" movie? I think JoJo's really a retired secret agent from the 60's. Maxwell Smart owed him some favors & hooked him up with this top-secret document on the sly...... but don't tell anybody.

from "The Beatles: Off the Record" by Keith Badman:
Mal Evans: "The first song I ever wrote that got published was 'Sgt. Pepper'. At the time, I was staying with Paul as his housekeeper. His previous housekeepers (the Kellys) had left for some reason."
...and...
Mal Evans: "I stayed with him (Faul) for four months and he had a music room at the top of his house with his multi-coloured piano and we were up there a lot of the time. We wrote 'Sgt Pepper' and also another song on the album, 'Fixing A Hole'. When the album came out, I remember it very clealry, we were driving somewhere late at night. There was Paul, Neil Aspinall and myself and the driver in the car, and Paul turned round to me and said, 'Look Mal, do you mind if we don't put your name on the songs? You'll get your royalties and all that, because Lennon and McCartney are the biggest things in our lives. We are really a hot item and we don't wnat to make it Lennon-McCartney-Evans. So, would you mind? I didn't mind, because I was so in love with the group that it didn't matter to me. I knew myself what had happened."

This quote has bothered me for a long time. It's a bit misleading. Yes Mal did receive royalties (w/ no credit) for Pepper but it was because he came up with the TITLE only. The way it is worded it sound like he wrote the whole can o' worms and that just isn't the case. So in a way the Beatles were being very cool to cut Mal a check for his title. Yes his title was key to the album, yes it was technically a part of the lyrics so worthy of credit, but no he did not write the melody, chords, or remaining lyrics. Incidentally, Paul is up in arms about getting his original lyrics back...apparently were stolen in the late 60's www.thesmokinggun.com/paul/paul.html

The answer was that ALL "Sun King" told is in that forum and ONLY in that forum under his signature. You are "still" free to search by yourself what you need to know, there. P.S. this thread is about other arguments. Better opening another for that.
