The concept that the Artist imposes their will on the audience. Pop music is, by nature, fascistic. The group replicates it's thoughts and ideas, desires and dreams, which are then packaged for mass consumption. The modern phenomenon of "identity for sale". As Burroughs and Gysin suggest the Word is a virus, and the world we live in has been structured around word - or conceptual - associations. We essentially live in a walking cut-up of corporate logos, trigger phrases coming from radios playing in shops, subliminally charged ad campaigns, slogans on clothing, sigils posted on street signs, masonic statues and buildings with embedded symbolism.
"In a prerecorded Universe the only thing that isn't prerecorded is the prerecording itself." To quote Burroughs. His writing in "The Mayan Caper" - from "The Soft Machine" - describes a mission in which the character enters a temple where the Mayan control tape plays. The mission involves splicing in a new recording to replace the previous, slash-and-burn/sacrifice, control tape of the Mayan Priests, who are revealed to be insectoid/reptilian demons at the service of giant centipede/maggots that feed on sacrificial remains. William borrows through the soft machine. Injecting viral ideas/actions into the control tape of a given system is the theory at work here.
If pop music is fascistic by nature, with the group acting as a gentle - fragmented - Hitler, then the act of injecting subversive, revolutionary, thoughts into a fascistic medium will ultimately lead to it's destruction. Burroughs began implementing this method in 1961, while in Britain after a period in Tangiers where he met Gysin who introduced the technique of the cut-up. Since that time it is obvious the system has grown more insidious and focused on the acquisition of the soul of the citizen. Crowley begins the Book of the Law with the following quote: "The absolute rule of the state shall be a function of the absolute liberty of each individual will."
Concurrent with Burroughs' first serious experimentation with the cut-up method - and the ideas it seemed to suggest- elsewhere, in New York, George Maciunas opened a gallery on Madison Avenue essentially marking the beginning of what is called the "Fluxus Movement". The basic philosophy of Fluxus is a continuation of John Cage's work with silence, or indeterminate, chance-based, music in which the role of the composer is stripped of all significance. Politically, and spiritually, this may be seen as a reaction against the culture industry and personality cults. Fluxus may also be seen as a meditation on these same subjects.
But what we realize if we meditate on the control tape and become aware of it, we may find ourselves encountering the Nova Mob. It's not as if we are the only ones that realize this is a prerecorded universe and that by injecting our ideas onto the master tape we effect change in the perceivable world. Many people have realized this. In some sense it is the birth of the Priest Class, the Wands, the Magicians. As I mentioned above, the Mayans relied heavily on a Slash-and-burn agricultural technique. This required precise timing & an intimate knowledge of the seasons, therefore necessitating a form of astronomy. A lot of people here thought the world was going to end by the reckoning of the Slash-and-burn calendar of this Priest Class.
Or, maybe "Maya" would begin to fragment resulting in the eschaton.
One thing that attracted my attention early on about Burroughs was his dire reading of the World. He suggested certain experiments in "The Job", to be done with tape recorders specifically, all of which would result in negative consequences, such as riots, illness, discomfort & violence. The method is quite simple. For illness, you simply need to make an "Illness Tape". With a cassette recorder, tape the sounds of people coughing, sneezing, clearing their throat, moaning and sniffling. Pay this tape in a frequented public space so that your "Illness Tape" is loud and quiet enough to blend into the general banter of the room. You may notice your companion is feeling a bit under the weather later that day or night. Rather sardonically, when asked if these same techniques could be applied to affirmative, hopeful, acts Burroughs just replies, "Maybe!". Perhaps repeat the above, but instead of an illness tape, make a "Love Tape". Or, "Lust Tape".
I'm preparing to stop for now, but my next installment will be about how, after meditating, the world appears hopelessly chaotic, concerned with trivia and endlessly distracted. The contentment and ignorance of the common people allows for the most vile and brutal segments of the population to act in a bizarre netherworld of "nonexistence". The common people are simply unaware that people are engaged in such anti-social behavior. Homosexuality & drug-addiction, at one point in time, were once harbingers of the eschaton. Now it is Snuff Films and Monarch Programming.
There is also the issue of the audience as voyeur. The artist is paid to be human by the goyim, who have forsaken their humanity - often voluntarily. They unconsciously regret this decision, their soul longing for connection to their Lord, and, in a pathetic attempt to regain their soul, if only for 2 minutes and 50 seconds, they gladly give their toilet paper money, which represents the totality of their existence, to the same faceless corporation that is responsible for their enslavement. Most importantly, the audience is continually presented with increasing grotesque depictions of themselves and the world. And you wonder why Paul committed suicide... Even Hitler didn't want to be Hitler...

beatlas231 wrote: The spiral began for "Bill" with the entire Manson murders----------------- The Downward Spiral en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Downward_Spiral"The Downward Spiral is the second studio album by American industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, released March 8, 1994, on Interscope Records. It is a concept album detailing the destruction of a man, from the beginning of his "downward spiral" to his attempt at suicide.... Reznor moved to 10050 Cielo Drive, Benedict Canyon, Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, California the following year, where actress Sharon Tate was murdered by members of the Manson Family. It was used as a studio called "Le Pig" for recording Broken and The Downward Spiral with collaborations from other musicians...." Okay. High time for a meandering, moderate to severely well-researched, Caramel. The way people refer to a Jackson Pollack painting as a Pollack, this is a Caramel: When I was reading "The Family" - by Ed Sanders of the Fugs - I remember being struck by a reference to a meeting place called "The Spiral Staircase". It was maybe half a page of information, essentially saying nothing more than Manson and Family would spend time at this house along a highway in the desert. & that Sanders suspected it was related to the Process. This was in 1968, before the general Freak-out. A few years after Sanders published his book a private investigator, Maury Terry, began following the "Son Of Sam" murders*. He came to believe that David Berkowitz did not act alone. More importantly, over time - his investigation lasted almost 10 years - Terry came to the startling conclusion that not only did it seem likely the Son of Sam was not one person instead a cult of some sort, but it seemed this "cult" had a lineage that went back to Manson & the Family. Trying to track down and follow through any leads he encountered, Terry was given information about a person he refers to as "Manson II", in his book "The Ultimate Evil". His initial theory was Manson II was the person that took over the cult after Charlie went to prison. That this person had moved from L.A. to New York in the middle-70s and began directing a new group of young people to murder. However, as his research progress, Terry began to believe that the person he referred to ask Manson II may have, in fact, predated Charlie in terms of involvement in murder, drugs, and the occult. That Manson II was actually the one in charge of Manson and the Family, the Zodiac Killer, the Son of Sam and, in the mid 80s, the "Death-mask Murders". The Death Mask murders reveal a current that should not have been revealed, because it provides a vital clue, and scenario. In 1985 a boy was found on in estate in New York - in the Hamptons, I'm not mistaken. The victim was found wearing a black leather BDSM mask and was on the property of the father of a wealthy art dealer, Andrew Crispo. Crispo, a homosexual, was a prominent art dealer in NYC and when news of the murder shed light on his activities it became evident something awful was going on in and around his gallery. It came out he was heavily involved in drug trafficking, money laundering, and - sensationally played up by the media - homosexual BDSM play. Later it came out that Crispo may have been involved in the production of Snuff Films, which were commissioned by wealthy clients. The book "Bag of Toys" is considered the definitive source on the subject, and was reviewed in a New York Times in 1992, "There Was Something Creepy About The Gallery". Nine Inch Nails - Pinion (From the Broken Video) I'm going to continue this later, but I will direct your attention to this NIN video & also toward it's director, Peter Christopherson - of Throbbing Gristle, & Coil. It's worth noting Trent Reznor named a group after Coil's first EP, "How To Destroy Angels; Ritual Music For The Accumulation Of Male Sexual Energy". Equally pertinent, Christopherson was prominent in Hipgnosis, the English design collective. My next post will focus on Transgressive Art, and how it relates to Paul's death. More importantly, how confusing an audience, or inciting fear, has been a common theme in "Modern" Art since the 1960s, beginning with the work of John Cage and his philosophical offspring, the Fluxus movement+. This line of inquiry leads directly to the idea of "Weaponized Art", or "Weaponized Culture". A question until I post again; Why is it underground movements tend to be confounding to their audiences & participants and focus so heavily on insanity & violence? * I've always held onto the image from the movie, "The Summer of Sam", of a punk musician reading the Sam letters from the Daily News as lyrics to a song. + The next post will focus more on Art, as opposed to serial killers. The idea an artists psychological profile is eeriely similar to a serial killer or a person in the throes of mania.

The Mothers Of Invention - Calling Any Vegetable I haven't had access to a television in about a year and during the holidays I did. I was interested in seeing a movie and the cable service has movies that may be watched freely. So I began studying the lists. The horror selection was quite poor. And so I believe I found myself in comedy and sure enough I came across Frank Zappa's 200 Motels. Although, this wasn't something sure at all. I found it highly unusual that I had found it by accident. The marvels of technology. Such a terrifying film. But, it provides the necessary association to keep the game going. As you may or may not know Lemmy has died. One of the finest deep guitarists the world has ever known. To commemorate his acidic spirit I present to you an obscured gem released in 1974: Captain Lockheed & The Starfighters 1974 Lemmy on deep guitar Lemmy was also deep guitarist for Motorhead, whose name is a reference to Jim "Motorhead" Sherwood saxophonist of the Mothers of Invention. It meant someone that talked too much. Perhaps under the influence of Methamphetamine. Perhaps not. ALSO, THIS THREAD IS 10 YEARS OLD!

Below the Waterline a tribute to PM
"True or false right or wrong A beating heart still going strong The memory is all we have Sometimes we cry and then we laugh And far below the waterline Out of sight of prying eyes We see the world is doing fine Without the need of a disguise On the surface it may seem Like a twisted mixed up dream And words can't say the things we mean So look below the waterline
Who would know and who can say We can't go back to yesterday We had to turn our lives around Bury the past beneath the ground And just below the waterline Our reflections go floating by Waiting there for the sun to shine Through the clouds in the sky Did we make it to the shore Or sink down to the ocean floor Were we lost for evermore Far below the waterline*
We only see the mountain top But just like time it doesn't stop Beneath the waves it goes for miles Beyond our tears hiding our smiles Down below the waterline Depending on how deep we dive Although it may be hard to find What we had is still alive Some might say it makes no sense Revisiting our innocence I put it down to experience To stay below the waterline
Win or lose sink or swim That changing tide keeps rolling in Where does it end or begin Down below the waterline"

Denny Laine - Ghost of the Scrimshaw Carver.*
"Landlubbers have awoken me releasing of 'me spirit from the bottom of the sea where 'me bones have laid since 1883 I'm the Ghost of the Scrimshaw Carver.
"As a cabin boy aboard the "Ocean Spray" out of Liverpool we sailed to Baffin Bay 'cross the Greenland Sea for to hunt the mighty whale
"Hold steady there the beauty blows, bring her 'round to starboard and steady as she goes" and me old "Sea Daddy" taught' me all he knows. I'm the Ghost of the Scrimshaw Carver
"Over there she blows" I heard the look-out say "Off the starboard bow not a half a mile away" and the sea turned red as we took his life that day
With whale blubber a needle and a stone I carved a pretty picture on a piece of whalebone for to make some pennies for 'me family back at home I'm the Ghost of the Scrimshaw Carver
The harpoon missed it's mark a great whale stood his ground making his escape he dived and pulled us down all hands on board were lost and never found."
Denny Laine
* During the introduction Denny mentions this was written with a friend that worked for Peter Asher of Indica Books.

Denny Laine - Talk To The Head (Released on Wizard Records) " I've got a scar From when I crashed my car." The "Chinon Parchment suggests that the Templars did indeed spit on the cross," says Sean Martin, and that these acts were intended to simulate the kind of humiliation and torture that a Crusader might be subjected to if captured by the Saracens, where they were taught how to commit apostasy " with the mind only and not with the heart".Similarly Michael Haag suggests that the simulated worship of Baphomet did indeed form part of a Templar initiation ritual: The indictment (acte d'accusation) published by the court of Rome set forth ... " that in all the provinces they had idols, that is to say, heads, some of which had three faces, others but one; sometimes, it was a human skull ... That in their assemblies, and especially in their grand chapters, they worshipped the idol as a god, as their saviour, saying that this head could save them, that it bestowed on the order all its wealth, made the trees flower, and the plants of the earth to sprout forth." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baphomet

Clare Kuehn and I saw him in Allentown last year. He still kicks arse! By all means, GO now! I'm very interested in asking questions, but unfortunately the only things that comes to mind are, 1) "So, Manson would only allow the Family to listen to The Moody Blues & the Beatles. What did you think when you first heard that? What was it about the Moody Blues? Is it weird being associated with both groups?"Far too creepy. 2) "So what IS the lost chord and don't tell me you don't know. I mean, I know already and I know you know, too. Just tell me so I know you know... No, you won't tell me? ... Okay, I'll say a note, then you say a note, and we'll go back and forth that way. That way we aren't breaking the oath. Sound good? Yes? B flat... Come on, Man, this only works if you go along with it... No?!? I only have 4 questions and you're going to like the next two even less. Fuck I'm rambling, Man. What? I know this is the worst interview ever but... You what? Okay, I'm going home, bastard. Wings sucked anyway."Far too silly and progressively aggressive.

Hi seasaltcaramel, try these on him. Maybe you can read his reaction to them more so than his words. He'll probably not tell the truth either way. "Mr. Laine, how were your years spent with Paul and Linda McCartney and if you would, please tell us what were the contributing factors that led up to two of the members of the band leaving the group right before heading off to Africa to record the album ?". "Mr. Laine, in all the years you spent performing and recording with Paul did it ever occur to you that the man that you were playing with may not be the original Beatlemania era Paul McCartney ?". I can think of many other questions but I think by the time you asked him the second one he'd end the interview and walk away. More of the first, a few more of the latter. I intend to record it, assuming I can make it happen.

I was walking downtown today coming back from the fish market. I was looking in the windows of stores and this caught my eye: Denny Laine? "Oh my," I thought. Whatever is Denny Laine doing in the incredibly small town of Maynard, Massachussets? So bizarre. The venue is a 5 minute walk from my house. 10 minutes if it rains. I'm wondering if I should be creepy and ask the creepy questions... Probably not, but maybe I should ask to do an interview minus the creepy stuff. That being said, can I get help with potential questions? This is BEYOND weird. EDIT: www.eventbrite.com/e/summer-concert-with-denny-laine-tickets-17816506651 Just additional "proof"

Maybe people on this thread live in South America or Alaska or whatever. I'm the only person in the UK who has given talks on the subject and maybe there isn't anyone else? I'm trying to finish a book on the subject - all PID books to date have been American - and would have really appreciated some folks to rap with. An excerpt from it is published as a 24-page chapter in Jim Fetzer's new conspiracy book jamesfetzer.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/and-i-suppose-we-didnt-go-to-moon-either.html Actually that has got 4 PID chapters, plus some pages in Jim's foreword. ] May I ask, have you come to any resolution? Recently, I read "Bag of Toys", "Ultimate Evil" and "The Club Dumas". I found the Club Dumas to be the most interesting. I wrote down every book/artist mentioned and it took up 6 pages of small hand-writing. "BoT" & "UE" were both borderline "That word for saying someone is something they aren't while claiming it to be fact". Defamation? Something like that. Anyway. Jesus, False Messiah and all that, Bless America and the First Amendment. The Lord shall provide. I am generally without morals, but judge harshly when people steal research for the sake of profit. All PID books have been for profit. More importantly, all PID books exist because they present "Vital Information" & depend on the fact they provide "new" revelations. These "books" end up being personal diaries of an individual's research. I would appreciate a book that simply discusses music/ideas RELEVANT to the idea. A document of Research for an interesting period of history is worth more than a bizarre attempt at historical-revisionism. I know. I have tried it. Documenting research will inevitably present a "story arc", even if one doesn't exist. In the end, you have spent 10+ years plucking at straws in an attempt to make some kind of sense out of the subject, without a hypothesis. In the case of "Paul Is Dead", everything is a conspiracy. Everything is a clue. PID is actually a means of categorizing the history of Art. The fact Paul died provides a certain perspective of history based in deception and heightened awareness. Nothing Is Real. I've been here too long to take the "conspiracy" seriously. However, anyone that is inclined to be interested and skeptical will be. I think it is cruel to try and play with someone's curiosity. Whether it is for profit or not. ---- One Freak's Opinion ----

The White Rabbit F. F. E. Yeo-Thomas 17 June 1902 – 26 February 1964 From: "Daily Mail Wednesday, March 25, 2009 Page 26" '... QUESTION The TV series The White Rabbit starring Kenneth More is said to have been shown only once and then destroyed. Was it? KENNETH MORE (1914-82) was a very British type of film star; the sort of chap who favoured Harris Tweed over leather jackets. In contrast to the tortured angst of American contemporaries such as Marlon Brando and James Dean, he portrayed a breezy charm. But there was more to More than this. His showed his skill with light comedy in the classic family film Genevieve. And as Douglas Bader in Reach For The Sky, More became a stiff-upper-lipped icon of British cinema. A Night To Remember is the definitive Titanic film, and Northwest Frontier is a glorious Boy's Own adventure romp. So he was the ideal choice to play Wing Commander F. F. E. Yeo-Thomas in the BBC production of The White Rabbit (1967). Forest Frederick Edward Yeo Thomas was the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) agent codenamed The White Rabbit in World War II. His sphere of operations was Occupied and Vichy France, and while liaising with the Resistance in Paris, 'Tommy' was betrayed, taken to the Gestapo at 84 Avenue Foch for interrogation and subjected to brutal torture. After stints in several prisons and many escape attempts, he ended up in Buchenwald concentration camp, from which he eventually escaped in 1945. The taut and suspenseful miniseries, The White Rabbit, was possibly More's best work. Sadly, it no longer exists. As More explains in his autobiography More Or Less (1978), the film copyright to White Rabbit was held by Hal Chester, who did not want the BBC series to be made in case he decided to make a film of it himself. The BBC was able to bypass this by agreeing to screen the series just once and not selling it. According to More, the then controller of features at the BBC, David Attenborough, considered the project worthy, but had the tapes destroyed. Michael Taylor, Cheltenham, Glos. ' Weird. Never heard of this man or the film given the significance of Alice.
