And The Bewlay Brothers is another Bowie song that could be relevant...
And so the story goes they wore the clothes They said the things to make it seem improbable The whale of a lie like they hope it was And the Goodmen of Tomorrow Had their feet in the wallow And their heads of Brawn were nicer shorn And how they bought their positions with saccharin and trust And the world was asleep to our latent fuss Sighing, the swirl through the streets Like the crust of the sun The Bewlay Brothers In our Wings that Bark Flashing teeth of Brass Standing tall in the dark Oh, And we were Gone Hanging out with your Dwarf Men We were so turned on By your lack of conclusions
I was Stone and he was Wax So he could scream, and still relax, unbelievable And we frightened the small children away And our talk was old and dust would flow Thru our veins and Lo! it was midnight Back o' the kitchen door Like the grim face on the Cathedral floor And the solid book we wrote Cannot be found today
And it was Stalking time for the Moonboys The Bewlay Brothers With our backs on the arch In the Devil-may-be-here But He can't sing about that Oh, And we were Gone Real Cool Traders We were so Turned On You thought we were Fakers
Now the dress is hung, the ticket pawned The Factor Max that proved the fact Is melted down And woven on the edging of my pillow Now my Brother lays upon the Rocks He could be dead, He could be not He could be You He's Camelian, Comedian, Corinthian and Caricature "Shooting-up Pie-in-the-Sky" The Bewlay Brothers In the feeble and the Bad The Bewlay Brothers In the Blessed and Cold In the Crutch-hungry Dark Was where we flayed our Mark Oh, and we were Gone Kings of Oblivion We were so Turned On In the Mind-Warp Pavilion
Lay me place and bake me Pie I'm starving for me Gravy Leave my shoes, and door unlocked I might just slip away Just for the Day, Hey! Please come Away, Hey!

Well, it's Halloween....and I don't know whether this song really pertains to PID/PWR or not, but for some reason it always sets off my radar, and when I see that burned post in the Rotten Apple videos, I have to wonder. So what the hell. Black Sabbath - Black Sabbathwww.youtube.com/watch?v=1t24PsZxohYWhat is this that stands before me Figure in black which points at me Turn 'round quick and start to run Find out I'm the chosen one Oh, no Big black shape with eyes of fire Telling people their desire Satan sitting there, he's smiling Watches those flame get higher and higher Oh, God--please help me Oh, no--no Child cries out for its mother Mother screaming in the fire Satan points at me again Opens the door to push me in Oh, no Oh, God Is it the end my friend Satan's coming 'round the bend People running 'cause they're scared You people better go and beware No, no Please, God--no -------------------------------- [glow=Orange,2,300] Santana - Soul Sacrifice (Woodstock1969)[/glow] www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnamP4-M9ko--------------------------------------------------------------- Sacrifice (Elton John) www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZvL2N0bXhESacrifice lyrics It's a human sign When things go wrong When the scent of her lingers And temptation's strong Into the boundary Of each married man Sweet deceit comes calling And negativity lands Cold cold heart Hard done by you Some things look better baby Just passing through And it's no sacrifice Just a simple word It's two hearts living In two separate worlds But it's no sacrifice No sacrifice It's no sacrifice at all Mutual misunderstanding After the fact Sensitivity builds a prison In the final act We lose direction No stone unturned No tears to damn you When jealousy burns

They've got the stars for the gallant hearts. I'm the replacement for your part. But all I want to do is forget You, friend. Hammer Horror, Hammer Horror, Won't leave me alone. The first time in my life, I leave the lights on To ease my soul. Hammer Horror, Hammer Horror, Won't leave it alone. I don't know, Is this the right thing to do? Now all I want to do is forget You, friend. Hammer Horror, Hammer Horror, Won't leave me alone. The first time in my life, I leave the lights on To ease my soul. Hammer Horror, Hammer Horror, Won't leave it alone. I don't know, Is this the right thing to do? Who calls me from the other side Of the street? And who taps me on the shoulder? I turn around, but you're gone. I've got a hunch that you're following, To get your own back on me. So all I want to do is forget You, friend. Hammer Horror, Hammer Horror, Won't leave me alone. Bush attended St. Joseph's Convent Grammar School (became the St Joseph's Campus of Bexley College then knocked down for housing) and a Catholic girls school, on Woolwich Road in Abbey Wood, London, in the mid-1970s. During this time her family produced a demo tape with over 50 of her compositions which was turned down by record labels. David Gilmour of Pink Floyd received the demo from Ricky Hopper, a mutual friend of Gilmour and the Bush family. Impressed with what he heard, Gilmour helped Bush get a more professional-sounding demo tape recorded that would be more saleable to the record companies.[5] The tape was produced by Gilmour's friend Andrew Powell, who would go on to produce Bush's first two albums.[4] The tape was sent to EMI executive Terry Slater who would become famous for signing The Sex Pistols. Slater was impressed by the tape and signed her.[6] At that time Pink Floyd was an important act to EMI. The mid 1970s were a stagnant time in the history of the British record industry. Progressive rock was very popular and visually-oriented rock performers were growing in popularity thus record labels looking for the next big thing were considering experimental acts.

I could be way off base here, but there seems to be a connection between "Dodo" by Genesis, and The Who's "Drowned", which is on the PID/PWR-laden Quadrophenia.
In addition, Dodo seems to have a reference to The Shining.
Have a look...
The Who - "Drowned"
There are men high up there fishing, Haven't seen quite enough of the world, I ain't seen a sign of my heroes, And I'm still diving down for pearls.
Let me flow into the ocean, Let me get back to the sea. Let me be stormy and let me be calm, Let the tide in, and set me free.
I'm flowing under bridges, Then flying through the sky, I'm travelling down cold metal Just a tear in baby's eye.
Let me flow into the ocean Let me get back to the sea Let me be stormy and let me be calm Let the tide in, rush over me.
I am not the actor This can't be the scene But I am in the water, As far as I can see...
I'm remembering distant memories Recalling other names. Rippling over canyons, And boiling in the train.
Let me flow into the ocean Let me get back to the sea Let me be stormy and let me be calm Let the tide in, rush over me
I wanna drown In cold water
Genesis - "Dodo"
Too big to fly, dodo ugly so dodo must die, Doggo with fear on its side, can't change, can't change the tide. Dog baiter, agitator, asking questions, says he wants to know why. Ain't no reason that money can't buy. Mink he pretty so mink he must die, must die, must die.
Sun he giving life in his light, Part of the system, Friend to man, friend to the trees, No friend to the snowman. Where does he go, what does he do? Does he meet with the mole, the stream, the cloud And end up at the bottom of the sea.
Fish he got a hook in his throat, Fish he got problems Where does he go, what does he do? Does he hope he's too small, to poor a haul, Who'll end up being thrown back in the sea. I'm back in the sea.
Caretaker, horror movie, Only one eye, only needs one boot, Sweet lady, she knows she looks good Vacuum coming for the bright and the brute.
Big noise, black smoke So pig-headed couldn't see the joke. But it ain't funny Ask the fly on the wall It's only living It don't matter at all, at all, at all.
Pimp, he make you drool and grunt, He got an answer. One he got a dream of love, Deep as the ocean.
Where does he go? What does he do? Will the siren team with Davy Jones, And trap him at the bottom of the sea?
I'm back in the sea. I'm back in the sea. I'm back in the sea.

Thanks for the connection, B.
I've got some more on this.
Here's the last verse of "Dodo", by Genesis:"Where does he go? What does he do? Will the siren team with Davy Jones, And trap him at the bottom of the sea?" From Wiki:" Davy Jones’ Locker is an idiom for the bottom of the sea; the resting place of drowned sailors. It is used as a euphemism for death at sea (to be sent to Davy Jones' Locker),[1] whereas the name Davy Jones is a nickname for what would be the devil/saint/god of the seas. The origins of the name are unclear and many theories have been put forth, including incompetent sailors, a pub owner who kidnapped sailors, or that Davy Jones is another name for the devil – as in, “Devil Jonah”. This nautical superstition was popularized in the 1800s." Paul was the "cute" Beatle.
His counterpart in the Monkee's?Davy Jones. I posted this before, but in the Anthology Special Features, there's an odd discussion of "Tomorrow Never Knows". They're talking about the recording process and all of the tape effects, and at 3:00, George laughs and says:"Bring Phil Collins in." This made me remember Collins talking about Ringo being "vastly underrated", and talking about the "very, very complex drum fills" on "A Day In The Life" in the Making of Sgt Pepper video.
Watch here at 1:39:Wouldn't it be a classic example of HIDDEN IN PLAIN SITE to have Phil Collins discussing his own uncredited work, and attributing it to Ringo?
I'm not sure if I'm actually suggesting that or not, because Collins was supposedly born in January, 1951, which means he would have only been 15 in 1966. There's also the fact that Collins covered "Tomorrow Never Knows" on FACE VALUE, so that could be what George is referring to. Either way, the whole thing strikes me a strange.

Interesting post, P(D)enny La(i)ne. Phil was in the audience at the taping of "A Hard Day's Night" and screaming like a little girl. Well, yeah, I made up the screaming little girl part. He is a huge Beatles fan though. On "Tomorrow Never Knows" they grabbed just about every EMI employee around to hold the pencils for the tape effects loops, throughout the building in halls and other rooms. It wasn't just a few minute process but lasting for a dozen hours or so. It makes me tired thinking about it.

I wrote my theory on thi9s song on TKIN here is another confirmation: Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 by David Medsker "Funny story: I interviewed Babydaddy of the Scissor Sisters, and when I commented on how their song "Paul McCartney" reminded me of Palmer's "Looking for Clues," he admitted that that was exactly what they were aiming for, then made a throwaway comment about that song's groove, saying, "Who knew that Robert Palmer had it in him?""The title of this song, "Looking For Clues" would instantly resonate with anyone who spent time looking for clues on the Beatles albums when the PID 'rumor' hit the airwaves in 1969. Perhaps there are a few in this song, eh? LOOKING FOR CLUES (Robert Palmer) It’s crazy but I’m frightened by the sound of the telephone, oh yeah I’m worried that the caller might have awful news, oh my’ Who knows these days where on earth the money goes, oh yeah No doubt we could put it to a better use, oh my You keep insisting that nobody showed you how to keep relationships, oh yeah Your daddy made a real good try, oh my You said you knew all along We could work it out, oh yeah Do you have to make a fuss everytime we fly Oh I’m looking for clues I have to make an effort now I just to be serious, oh yeah Nobody’s gonna give you the benefit of the doubt, oh my Everytime I pick a paper up it’s harder to believe the news, oh yeah I’m gonna have to shake it up and twist and shout, oh my You can’t do nothing that you don’t put your mind to, oh yeah I suspected all along you were a dream come true, oh my I’m never in the dark ’cause my heart keeps me well informed, oh yeah I’m convinced that there’s a way of getting through to you Ooh I’m looking for clues It’s crazy but I’m frightened by the sound of relationships, oh yeah I swear we could put it to a better use, oh my Do hurry baby you’ve forgotten how to catch a night groove, oh yeah You told all the callers you were not amused oh I’m looking for clues You keep insisting that nobody showed you how to use a telephone, oh yeah Nobody’s gonna give you a second chance, oh my I don’t have to make an effort now to find out where the money goes, oh yeah Do you have to make a fuss everytime we dance Ooh I’m looking for clues Do ya do ya do ya do ya Ooh I’m looking for clues Ooh I’m looking for clues Ooh I’m looking for clues hear it:www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5Ua2Jk2K8g

You Dont Fool Me"Video From album Made In Heaven[/b] of a group Queen." www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5KUfwtckjwI won't bother to print the lyrics. This video strikes me as "all the young dudes carrying 'the news' ", but the imagery contains all the familiar PID/PWR material: a dead man, who is also a woman and "a fool", a lightning strike, etc. etc. I'm not saying the video is necessarily about Paul, but it seems to be telling the same story that the Beatles were involved in.

I saw a photo comparison of Paul/Faul yesterday showing the extreme eye color difference. It was an outdoor photo, and the color was really apparent. It brought to mind the American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson and her hit song "Behind These Hazel Eyes."
I wouldn't have made the connection before, but when you think about it, American Idol would be a good placement, and there is the Simon connection?
Anyway, the lyrics aren't packed with symbolism, but I did see this:
Here I am, once again I'm torn into pieces Can't deny it, can't pretend Just thought you were the one Broken up, deep inside But you won't get to see the tears I cry Behind these hazel eyes
Swallow me then spit me out For hating you, I blame myself Seeing you it kills me now No, I don't cry on the outside Anymore...

While on the Cecile Pearl (called "Pauline") Cornioley Witherington thread from GN, I thought of the song "Cecilia" from Simon and Garfunkel, whose tunes often seem to be part of the story, and I also thought about Pearl, the album by Janice Joplin. I suspected that "Pearl" may be another Biblical reference, as in "the Pearl of great price" that the man sold all his possessions to buy, or "Pearls before swine" that Jesus warned about. Don't laugh! After all, the Beatles sang about "the little piggies" in their starched white shirts. Unappreciative, no doubt, of the Pearl that was before them in the musicians they so ruthlessly exploited. One of the songs on the Pearl album is "The Saint James Infirmiry", which hearkens back to 1928 or so, and so wouldn't seem to be PID song. Here are the traditional lyrics (sung by my man Roger!) www.ibiblio.org/jimmy/folkden-wp/?p=6990They differ from what Janice sang, though! In her version, these are the words: I went down to old Joe's bar room, on the corner by the square Well, the drinks were bein' served as usual, and this motley crowd was there Well, on my left stood Joe McKennedy, and his eyes were bloodshot red When he told me that sad story, these were the words he said: I went down to the St. James infirmary, I saw my baby there She was stretched out on a long white table, so cold, and fine, and fair Go ahead! Let her go, let her go, God bless her, wherever she may be She can search this world over, never find another man like me Yes, sixteen coal black horses, <----- this verse is different, added to pull that rubber tied hack Well, it's seventeen miles to the graveyard, but my baby's never comin' backWell, now you've heard my story, well, have another round of booze And if anyone should ever, ever ask you, I've got the St. James infirmary blues! ------------------------------------------------------ Now remember, the song is called the St. James Infirmiry blues. In the highlighted verse we have: Yes, sixteen coal black horses, ('dark horse' x 16) to pull that rubber tied hack (Rubber Soul? Faul ?) Well, it's seventeen miles to the graveyard, (She was just 17, if you know what i mean) but my baby's never comin' back (like in "Paint It Black")So, speaking of rubber, that all may be a stretch, but then again, it may not. Remember the RA video, "a tied down affair" that was withdrawn, but reposted on YouTube by sneaky NIR-PWR agents? St. James, St. Paul, one and the same, perhaps. The bar scene reminiscent of the one in "the Piano Man" which came later. Down at the SunSET(h) Grillwww.youtube.com/watch?v=D6PgrK3oZ2YThese days a man makes you somethin' And you never see his face (Paul makes Faul something, but you never see his face)But there is no hiding place Down at the sunset grill Down at the sunset grill Down at the sunset grill Down at the sunset grill Respectable little murders pay They get more respectable every day (stars being replaced with doubles)Dont worry girl, Im gonna stick by you And someday soon were gonna get in that Car and get outta here! (baby you can drive mine)What would we do without these jerks anyway? Besides, all our friends are here ------------------------------------- Is the head dead yet? Oops, a different song. ------------------------------- Speaking of Simon and Garfunkel: El Condor Pasawww.youtube.com/watch?v=qUn3TFkGoecI'd rather be a sparrow than a snail. (rather fly and soar than crawl)Yes I would. If I could, I surely would. I'd rather be a hammer than a nail. (Preferably a silver hammer)Yes I would. If I could, I surely would. Away, I'd rather sail away! Like a swan that's here and goneA man grows older every day It gives the world Its saddest sound, Its saddest sound. (Better to die young?)I'd rather be a forest than a street. (Norwegian Wood than Blue Jay Way, perhaps)Yes I would. If I could, I surely would. I'd rather feel the earth beneath my feet, Yes I would. If I could, I surely would. No direct tie-in here, but....something is going on here. Maybe a tie-in with Peru, and Macchu Pichu? Maybe JoJo can fill in some detail here, being as he's the bus driver, and has been there. Machupicchu - Condor Pasawww.youtube.com/watch?v=qPMM7-eILZoINKAS WASI-CONDOR PASAwww.youtube.com/watch?v=V_jAIK67dUocompare to: Pink Floyd - Learning to Flywww.youtube.com/watch?v=xb-Nacm-pKc

This cover sort of speaks for itself, i think... The album was released in 1985 and was produced by Chris Kimsey. "Christopher Kenneth Kimsey is a record producer and musician most famous for having co-produced The Rolling Stones' Undercover and Steel Wheels albums. He was also an engineer on their 1971 album Sticky Fingers as well as 1978's Some Girls and 1980's Emotional Rescue and assisted Mick Jagger and Keith Richards closely in preparing 1981's Tattoo You. He has also worked with Peter Frampton, Marillion, The Cult, Peter Tosh, The Psychedelic Furs, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Johnny Hallyday, Diesel Park West, JoBoxers, Killing Joke (YOUTH, of The Fireman), New Model Army, Ash, The Chieftains, Soul Asylum, Duran Duran, Yes, Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe, INXS and Moral Code X. He was the recording engineer for Frampton Comes Alive! in 1976. Chris Kimsey is credited for mixing the performances of Elton John, Paul McCartney and Cliff Richard & The Shadows on the Knebworth double album in 1990." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_KimseyAll the lyrics can be found here: www.marillion.com/music/lyrics/misplaced.htm

Hall and Oats Out of Touch A song from Paul to FaulShake it up is all that we know (Twist and Shout)Using the bodies up as we go (Faul supposedly channeling Paul)Waking up to fantasy (Faul living the dream)The shades all around aren't the colors we used to see (signifying change)Broken ice still melts in the sun (symbolic sun worship)And times that are broken can often be one again We're soul alone And soul really matters to me Take a look around(alluding to Faul channeling Paul's spirit)You're out of touch I'm out of time But I'm out of my head when you're not around (chorus= Faul rejects Paul and wants to be his own man)Reaching out for something to hold Looking for a love where the climate is cold (Faul apologizes in "This One")Manic moves and drowsy dreams Or living in the middle between the two extremes Smoking guns hot to the touch (Clues)Would cool down if we didn't use them so much We're soul alone And soul really matters to me Too much Daryle is in "the know" The smoking gun or clues hand sign Now he has been exposed as to why Faul McCartney is constantly doing the "Smoking Gun" hand sign Also notice at the beginning of the video the drum head rolls them over and then they become cardboard cutouts. One of my favorite songs they ever did. Loved that period of their music. Bang loud and carry and a big pair of sticks. You may have something, here. Well, they had their "smoking gun". Hmm. One of those media catch words. Kind of like Rush Limbaugh, who recently took claim for "letting loose" something he called "Operation Chaos." Maybe the Apple folks have a little game (in order to stay somewhat sane) called, "Operation Klues." Well, let's all be on the lookout for this style of hand signal for a while. I am not sure if Sir Paul's left hand on hip is supposed to tell us anything like, ev'rybody do the hokey-pokey, or, he thinks Sun King is some kind of a closet case, or, maybe "You be a sassy mamma, Ellen DeGeneres". I just don't know. He may be coaching his audience in the nuances of "The Time Warp." I get a the idea that Sir Paul just NEEDS to dance, sometimes. If these are coded messages for James Paul, gosh, that will take better minds than mine for the delving. Is it possible that Neil left a wish list, or specific instructions, consisting of bits and pieces to be shared with us after his premature passing? We'll have to hunt Sir Paul's concert footage since, say, 2003 for archetypical, broad, symbolic gesturing. It could get overly detailed. He does not stand still much. Got to consider Hall is a follower of Crowley also.

OK. Yes Owner Of A Lonely Heart Livewww.youtube.com/watch?v=z8dDcYjhdFURabin/Anderson/Squire/Horn) Move yourself You always live your life Never thinking of the future Prove yourself You are the move you make Take your chances win or loser See yourself You are the steps you take You and you - and that's the only way Shake - shake yourself You're every move you make So the story goes Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Much better than - a Owner of a broken heart Owner of a lonely heart Say - you don't want to chance it You've been hurt so before Watch it now: The eagle in the sky - How he dancin' one and only. You - lose yourself No not for pity's sake There's no real reason to be lonely Be yourself Give your free will a chance You've got to want to succeed Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Much better than - a Owner of a broken heart Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart After my own decisionThey confused me so! My love said "Never question your will at all; In the end you've got to go." Look before you leap, And don't you hesitate at all - no no Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Much better than - a Owner of a broken heart Owner of a lonely heart (repeat) Owner of a lonely heart Sooner or later each conclusion Will decide the lonely heart It will excite it will delight It will give a better start Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Don't deceive your free will at all Don't deceive your free will at all Don't deceive your free will at all Just receive it Owner of a lonely heart -------------------- The lead singer strikes me as somewhat McCartneyesque.

(Rabin/Anderson/Squire/Horn) Owner of a lonely heart(s Club Band)
Move yourself You always live your life Never thinking of the future Prove yourself(Bill comes into his own) You are the move you make(never forget who you are) Take your chances win or loser
See yourself You are the steps you take(The constant torment it must be) You and you - and thats the only way(You and you? I think its clear)
Shake - shake yourself Youre every move you make So the story goes(Again, constant reminders)
Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Much better than - a Owner of a broken heart(Dead Paul) Owner of a lonely heart
Say - you dont want to chance it Youve been hurt so before
Watch it now The eagle in the sky How he dancin one and only You - lose yourself No not for pitys sake Theres no real reason to be lonely Be yourself(Be Will) Give your free will a chance Youve got to want to succeed
Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Much better than - a Owner of a broken heart Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
After my own decision They confused me so - owner of a lonely heart My love said never question your will(you're Will) at all In the end youve got to go Look before you leap - owner of a lonely heart And dont you hesitate at all - no no
Owner of a lonely heart Owner of a lonely heart Much better than - a Owner of a broken heart Owner of a lonely heart (repeat)
Owner of a lonely heart
Sooner or later each conclusion Will decide the lonely heart - owner of a lonely heart It will excite it will delight It will give a better start - owner of a lonely heart
Dont deceive your free will at all Dont deceive your free will at all - owner of a lonely heart Dont deceive your free will at all Just receive it
It appears Bill was forced into the roll. They forged him into the mold, possibly with truama based mind control. 1:17 of the video sure looks like the fool on the hill.
