The "Pepper is a funeral" page chokes the Google web page translator for some reason, here it is with the cut and paste method, obviously nothing new here, but interesting:
Some fans of the Beatles McCartney was dead and the historical Sgt Pepper's album commemorating a lot of evidence. Here are a few.
On 12 October 1969 someone telephoned the radio in Detroit (WKNR-FM), saying that Paul McCartney was dead. Provided clear indications the matter death: November 9th 1966, the first light of dawn, in a car accident in which the corpse had been beheaded. Since then, the legend on the underground death of McCartney, known - almost like the title of a song - like Paul is Dead (or even, in the form signed, PID), which Wired wrote about the number 06, not only has not lost his dark fascination, but has been gaining more and more credit. According to fans of the Beatles, the clues that Paul is dead, some are scattered 'throughout the long career of the band. We will limit to consider only those contained in the album cover Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the first of the Beatles "orphans" of the real Paul, replaced with a double, that William 'Bill' Campbell.
Here's an image: front cover, back cover, photo and envelope inside.
The photo itself - designed by Peter Blake and Jann Haworth, with the photographer Michael Cooper assisted by Robert Fraser, a friend of Paul - seems to portray a crowd at a funeral. That of 'old' Beatles?
Statue of wax. To the left of the Beatles dressed in their Sunday best, is a reproduction of wax in Madame Tussaud. The statue of Paul supports a hand on the shoulder of a very sad by Ringo. According to legend the statue riprodurrebbero the Beatles' first release, "dead and replaced by others behind the drum.
Crowns of flowers. Someone theorized that the crown which says "BEATLES" could read "BE AT LESO", ie the body of Paul lying in Leso. E Leso going to Lesotho, the state of South Africa. The small crown made of yellow flowers offers two keys to understanding: a) seems the stylization of a low left-handed - the instrument of Paul, b) looked more closely it seems to us to read "PAUL?".
Characters. All photos are Isolated and attacked behind the photo of the band and they have a trait d'union:'s death. Some people have died (in mysterious circumstances various, like Marilyn or Edgar Alla Poe), there have been other very closely. Others have reported the death with their work.
The indications are many, consideriamoli one to one:
1. Unlike the other Beatles in uniform, the image of Paul seems Isolated as are those of the characters behind the band.
2nd The laying of Paul is in front, while the other three is 3 / 4.
3rd Above the head of Paul's hands of the writer Stephen Crane, who died at the age of 28 years. Lifting his hand is a symbol of death for Indian culture and in different cultures "oriental." This theme will use the graphics Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine.
4 While the other three held in the hands of glittering brass, Paul is the only band that has a black, wooden, an English horn.
5 His right hand is on the heart, the other takes the instrument with three fingers (the number of surviving Beatles?).
Shiva. A small statue of the goddess is destructive at the center, at the bottom of the cover. Two of the four hands of the goddess take flowers hyacinth red (in Greek mythology-related death) and pointing to a wax statue of Paul, the other in what purports to be the double of flesh and bones.
Doll. The doll on the right, the one wearing the shirt with white stripes and red (the color of blood) with the inscription "Welcome The Rolling Stones", sits on a strange puppet (note on the cover of the CD version is referred to as' figure of grandmother ') that fits a glove smeared with blood on his left hand (Paul had left ...). On the leg of a doll's car and it seems that this is just a model of the Aston Martin with which Paul would have crashed.
Drum Clue. The Grancassa with "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band "is among the most cited evidence. The author of the picture is neither Blake nor Haworth (the two artists of the cover), but a certain Joe Ephgrave. The name seems to be the combination of the words' Epitaph 'and' serious' ( 'epitaph' and 'grave'). Him there is no news. If we try to put a mirror along the horizontal axis of symmetry - that is cutting in half the words "LONELY" and "HEART", to reflect the top of the box, you can read "I ONE IX HE DIE ÷" . The symbol placed between the words "HE" (he) and "DIE" (dead) aims precisely to Paul, the other characters seem to indicate the date of death, 11 and 9, respectively, the month and day (in Roman numeral) .
TV. Next to the bust of Sergeant Pepper's TV off. A reference to the blackout of information on the death of Paul?
BACK TO COVER
Paul is the only one who gives back to the camera as if to indicate a "diversity" within the group. Also has three buttons at waist blacks, which could represent the three Beatles in mourning and seems to be in the same position it took on the front cover, which supports the theory of the 'Isolated' above. But that's not all: the head of Paul lies WITHOUT YOU written on the title of the song Within You Without You
George tells us what? George of the finger tip to the song She's leaving Home, to be precise what follows: "Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock as the day begins" ( "Wednesday morning at five, when the day begins", namely ' time when Paul was declared dead).
Lyrics. Read from left to right, skipping the columns, the texts at the same height seems to provide a cryptic message. Starting with Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, ( "someone calls you and you answer quite slowly"), you go right on Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock as the day begins ( "Wednesday morning at five, when the day "), and then And life flows on within you and without you (and life continues to flow with or without you") And until you're on your own, you're in the street ( "e now you are alone with yourself, on the road "). The first verse refers to the request for a ride in the car (because rain), to which he responds hesitant, the next is to reveal what the time of death (officially declared dead), then there is a clear reference to the death and then a verse that you describe your condition: alone on the street. That is trapped inside the burning?
The hole. The positions of the hands of the Beatles seem to compose the written L_VE. Whether it's a love incomplete due to the disappearance of Paul?
PICS INSIDE
Fetal position. In the picture the three Beatles portraits all appear to converge mezzobusto to Paul, the only one who is sitting in fetal position, namely in the way the Indians bury the dead. Paul also wears a distinctive black on the left sleeve with the letters OPD stands for Pronunced Officially Dead. Finally, the shoulder of Paul are the only trips to black (mourning).
INNER ENVELOPE (at pg. 2 of the CD booklet)
At first glance, an innocent psychedelic design (by the Dutch group The Fool), and in fact seems to give the idea that the bag is soaked in blood.
