As Dylan points out, Tweedle Dee Dee and Tweedle Dee Dum don't care much for each other.
Tweedle-Dee Dee is a lowdown, sorry old man Tweedle-Dee Dum, he'll stab you where you stand "I've had too much of your company, " Said, Tweedle-dee Dum to Tweedle-dee Dee
and
Tweedle-Dee Dum said to Tweedle-Dee Dee "Your presence is obnoxious to me"
and
Tweedle-Dee Dee, he's on his hands and his knees Saying, "Throw me somethin', Mister, please" "What's good for you is good for me" Says Tweedle-Dee Dum to Tweedle-Dee Dee
but they're working together separately on an identical mission
Neither one gonna turn and run They're making a voyage to the sun "His Master's voice is calling me" Says Tweedle-Dee Dum to Tweedle-Dee Dee
Tweedle-Dee Dee and Tweedle-Dee Dum All that and more and then some They walk among the stately trees They know the secrets of the breeze
but neither are the original JPM, evidently, and Dylan calls them "Two big bags of dead man's bones."
SO this verse in the Bully song
You tried to ruin my life It's gonna ruin yours instead What's wrong If I broke his hand? Would he understand? Even though he carries on
troubles me. It suggests to me that Tweedle Dum wanted to be rid of Tweedle Dee, and so Tweedle Dee, in return, wanted to break the hands of Tweedle Dum.
And this seems to hearken to the Ziggy Stardust verses:
So where were the spiders While the fly tried to break our bones? With just the beer light to guide us So we bitched about his fans And should we crush his sweet hands? Oh Mm-hmm
Ziggy played for time Jiving us that we were voodoo The kids were just crass He was the nazz With God-given ass He took it all too far But, boy, could he play guitar Making love with his ego Ziggy sucked up into his mind, ah Like a leper messiah When the kids had killed the man I had to break up the band
---------
needs some work, but the phone-y is ringing. Trying to understand exactly who is doing what to whom.

again.... This sounds to me like a JPM (Tweedle Dee Dee) speaking to a Faul (Tweedle Dum). The lyrics are an uncomfortably close fit! Bob Dylan - Positively 4th Street (Official Audio)www.youtube.com/watch?v=aehwEu8SBSoBob Dylan Mar 11, 2019 (to Faul from JPM)You've got a lotta nerve to say you are my friend When I was down you just stood there grinnin' You've got a lotta nerve to say you got a helping hand to lend You just want to be on the side that's winnin' You say I let you down, ya know its not like that If you're so hurt, why then don't you show it? You say you've lost your faith, but that's not where its at You have no faith to lose, and ya know it I know the reason, that you talked behind my back I used to be among the crowd you're in with Do you take me for such a fool, to think I'd make contact With the one who tries to hide what he don't know to begin with? (perfect description! )You see me on the street, you always act surprised You say "how are you?", "good luck", but ya don't mean it When you know as well as me, you'd rather see me paralyzedWhy don't you just come out once and scream it? No, I do not feel that good when I see the heartbreaks you embrace If I was a master thief perhaps I'd rob them And tho I know you're dissatisfied with your position and your place (If you've read the Billy Shears book, you know what a direct hit that is!)Don't you understand, its not my problem? I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes And just for that one moment I could be you (a touch of irony)Yes, I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes You'd know what a drag it is to see you! ---------- Still missing some pieces here, I think.

So putting this altogether, in my own words, kinda, I come up with this story: Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum Only two are left to carry on The others released, expired, moved on Leaving Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum Two big bags of dead men's bones
They bicker, disgruntled, picking over the spoils They still make their voyage to the sun; It burns and roils One's feet were scalded, as they touched the ground Then he was For No One, then he was gone Should have heeded the warning, not to touch the earth, not to see the sun Nothing left to do now, Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum, Nothing left to do but run, run, run, let's run
But, wait... Slow the gait... Should I break his hands, thinks Tweedle dee Or play for time? The Bully should have shared fairly with me He didn't, oh how I was blind
They still hear one singing from the balcony But was it Tweedle dum, or was it Tweedle dee? Angels dance and angels die In The End, he'll get his, thinks Tweedle dee, and maybe I'll get mine
Umm. Something like that anyway. The aftermath of a 60s fallout (or psy-op?). Maybe I'll just call it "Aftermath".

I said: No, it's not a case of being lonely We have here, I've been working on this palm tree (Paul M tree)For eighty seven years I said: No, it's not a case of being lonely We have here, I've been working on this palm tree For eighty seven years He said: Go get lost! And walked towards his Cadillac. I chopped down the palm tree And it landed on his back. -------Now what's interesting here is the 87 years. Officially Paul McCartney turns 80 next month, but as we all know from the "Fair Isle sweater" conversation Paul has in Magical Mystery Tour when he's talking to the lady on the bus, he (Faul) is actually five years older than Paul, so he (Tweedle Dum) will really be 85. In two years he will be 87, at which point - according to this song - the Paul M tree avenges itself and the "friend" presumably passes on. So, the way I see it, Faul passes away in two years. Unfortunately, so do the rest of us - pretty much - when a solar flare bakes the earth and our technology, according to Dolly Safran . I don't hold the Southern Man thing against him. Once, when I was a teen, he was in Atlanta. Our band (I marched color guard), had a raffle for Neil Young tickets. Had to raise money to travel. No one had heard of him but me. Guess they didn't get the Neil Young reference in Sweet Home Alabama. But I was always into the serious rock. Our band only did classical stuff. Richard Wagner, and such. No showy pop tunes for us. No majorettes....we were, complex.....So we received a good musical education.

Bob Dylan FULL 60 Minutes Ed Bradley 2004 Interview (upscaled to HD)www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOas0d-fFK8 ------ (referenced song)Start To Continue Sep 20, 2021 --------The white car in the video below looks like the one on the White album poster, fwiw. While not being a major Dylan fan, I was aware of the legendary interview. Returning to Last Trip to Tulsa, SongFacts indicates that Neil Young was reluctant to provide fans with a meaning to the song. This reminds me of something a reviewer said of Morrison, that he was "never given to explaining himself". SongFacts notes that a lot of phrases in Last Trip to Tulsa are indicative of some deep meaning, but that "the song as a whole simply doesn't give itself up to any kind of cohesive interpretation." Thus, fans over the years have simply interpreted it as a "stream of consciousness song". Based on your interpretation, it seems to me that the song's true meaning was not intended to be unlocked until it made sense in light of future events that were as yet unclear to fans, largely unaware of PID, at the time of the song's release. Thus, prophetic, putting me in mind of biblical prophesies. I believe now that artists of that day did serve as prophets, in a manner of speaking. And they still do. Thinking of Prince stating "life is just a party, but parties weren't meant to last". The music of the 80s instructed us over and over, that it was time to "dance, I said" - Salt and Pepa. The Time yelling "What time is it?", telling us we had "10 seconds to get to the dance floor", in The Bird. But listen to the end of The Bird. You will hear all manner of clocks ticking and chiming. Time had come today - to dance. We are told to do the Bird - fly. Then, Morris Day says, "Chile Sauce". Guess we flew too close to the sun and got burned. Again, Prince, as prophet, warned that the party would end one day. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called LIFE", then "better live now before the Grim Reaper comes knocking on your door"...Prince. The death motif with these artists. Even in the dance music genre. As you know, I'm not given to believing in two Pauls, that's all, in a literal sense (thus, the ages of Beatles is uncertain and fluid in my estimation). Rather, I believe that two Pauls was indeed the story told by the Beatles as PID lore. These issues seem a matter of personal opinion based on photographic and other evidence, and vary among those of us who have joined in conversations on this board over the years. A deep mystery, indeed. However, at this point, I strongly believe that the music of the time was to an extent synchronized, often pointing to the GOAT band. Thinking here of the chart you posted that I found imbedded in an article recently. Apparently, no one seems to get the reference to a palm tree Neil Young mentions, and the VERY specific mention of exactly 87 years. Clearly, there must be a reason for "87 years". I had thought "Paul McCartney", today clearly a character and not a specific person as I believe we all agree, was due to expire earlier than two years from now, but I appreciate your overall interpretation of the Tulsa lyrics. You are on to something here, in my opinion. Again, I am always intrigued seeing where you go with your analyses. Thanks again, Letter B!

What happened to "Stevie" Winwood? When did he become Steve? He sure looks a lot different to how I would have expected him to age when recalling this middle-of-the-road classic from the 80s.

If you reach back in your memory A little bell might ring About a time that once existed When money wasn't king If you stretch your imagination I'll tell you all a tale About a time when everything Wasn't up for sale There was this cat named Johnny (Stevie)Who loved to play and sing When money wasn't king. We'd all get so excited When John would give a show We'd raise the cash between us And down the road we'd go To hear him play that music It spoke right to my soul Every verse a diamond And every chorus gold The sound was my salvation It was only everything Before money became king.... ....We arrived there early In time to see rehearsal And John came out and lip-synched His new lite-beer commercialAnd as the crowd arrived As far as I could see The faces were all different There was no one there like me They sat in golden circles And waiters served them wine And talked through all the music And to John paid little mind And way up in the nosebleeds We watched upon the screen They hung between the billboards So cheaper seats could see Johnny, rock that golden circle And all those VIPs And that music that had freed us Became a tired routine And I saw his face in close-up Tryin' to give it all he had And sometimes his eyes betrayed him You could see that he was sad.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fool_(novel)"Fool is a novel by American writer Christopher Moore, released on February 10, 2009. The novel takes its premise from the plot of Shakespeare's play King Lear, narrated from the perspective of the character of the Fool, whose name is Pocket. In the course of the novel are references to other Shakespeare plays, ranging from short quotations to whole charactersโmost notably the three witches from Macbeth. While the style of Fool is directed at an American audience, the author incorporates at times Shakespearean vocabulary, archaic syntax, and modern British slang, and obscure cultural terms relating to medieval life, which are explained in footnotes. In addition, Moore invents humorous British-style place-names for fictitious locations in the story.... "----- mindgames forever

Life is very short. Too short to keep screwing up this song and starting again over and over. Linda's on stage. Who was she married to anyway? Any of these guys, or all of them? This Paul got a bit pudgy over the years. But who is this one, supposedly early Liverpool, at about 15:59? I haven't seen this Paul/George photo before. He reminds of the Paul backstage in Detroit in 1966. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WoIQG9qZ_sI'm not sure you really want to know. We used to have poster here Perplexed. He suggested to watch a few French movies made entirely from dolls. We get impression they all are human. You will find them here if you care. Beatles show many of the dolls features. Well in this video, there are some early Beatle photos, four or five I haven't seen before. At about 2:33 is a photo that flies by very quickly. An early Paul outside smoking. Pete Best is in the photo. To me, the attempt to give Paul doll eyes has never been more obvious than in this photo. Blow the video up to full screen and you'll see all the eye liner, mascara, and eye brow penciling on this guy. Maybe this makeup looked good inside, but outdoors he looks like Liza Minnelli. And is that a mole on his left cheek?

Bob Dylan (Robert Zimmerman) turned 81 on Monday. So I thought I'd note the occasion with his ode to Mr. Jones. (who some have said is Mr. Shears)Bob Dylan - Ballad Of A Thin Man Live 1966www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsLkfrgJ2QM ------ Don Draper May 7, 2017 You walk into the room with your pencil in your hand You see somebody naked and you say, "Who is that man?" You try so hard but you don't understand Just what you will say when you get home Because something is happening here but you don't know what it is Do you, Mr. Jones? You raise up your head and you ask, "Is this where it is?" And somebody points to you and says, "It's his" And you say, "What's mine?" and somebody else says, "Well, what is?" And you say, "Oh my God, am I here all alone?" But something is happening and you don't know what it is Do you, Mr. Jones? You hand in your ticket and you go watch the geek Who immediately walks up to you when he hears you speak And says, "How does it feel to be such a freak?" And you say, "Impossible!" as he hands you a bone And something is happening here but you don't know what it is Do you, Mr. Jones? You have many contacts among the lumberjacks To get you facts when someone attacks your imagination But nobody has any respect, anyway they already expect you to all give a check To tax-deductible charity organizations Ah, you've been with the professors and they've all liked your looks With great lawyers you have discussed lepers and crooks You've been through all of F. Scott Fitzgerald's books You're very well-read, it's well-known But something is happening here and you don't know what it is Do you, Mr. Jones? Well, the sword swallower, he comes up to you and then he kneels He crosses himself and then he clicks his high heels And without further notice, he asks you how it feels And he says, "Here is your throat back, thanks for the loan" And you know something is happening but you don't know what it is Do you, Mr. Jones? Now, you see this one-eyed midget shouting the word "Now" And you say, "For what reason?" and he says, "How" And you say, "What does this mean?" and he screams back, "You're a cow! Give me some milk or else go home" And you know something's happening but you don't know what it is Do you, Mr. Jones? Well, you walk into the room like a camel, and then you frown You put your eyes in your pocket and your nose on the ground There ought to be a law against you comin' around You should be made to wear earphones 'Cause something is happening and you don't know what it is Do you, Mr. Jones?

Blow the video up to full screen and you'll see all the eye liner, mascara, and eye brow penciling on this guy. Maybe this makeup looked good inside, but outdoors he looks like Liza Minnelli.... on the left

As for degrees of separation, here's 1964 John Lennon, in a field with Dudley Moore. Looks like an early incarnation of the Strawberry Fields, Nothing is Real promo film. John Lennon with Dudley Moore, who acted with Liza Minnelli, whose got Paul McCartney eyes. No one I think is in my tree? Umm...I think it's Dudley Moore and some other guy in the tree this time.

Hey, it would mean so much to me seeing as we are all invested in the truth about James Paul McCartney dying in 1966 that I can have a copy of The Memoirs Of Billy Shears. It would mean so much to me, this generosity from you kind souls. I mean it. When I found out McCartney died and was replaced by FAUL, I became chronically depressed and found out more celebs were replaced. I want to see if this book will tell me why, tell me the truth, the horrible truth behind the replacement. Please, I'm in a extremely low paying job and I do not have a bank account so if anyone have the PDF or audiobook, I will be eternally grateful. I am sorry but honestly dont beg like this, get a better job and learn to manage your money.
