I'll take a close look at the vids you linked. Had you already seen the film with John and Dudley Moore I posted where one of John's poems was read? Here I see more synchronicities with the Doors. Some stuff done to poetry, some to music. Now I'm gonna take a closer look at John's poetry and prose. People here have already put up some of the peculiar drawings of John Lennon. Got a busy long weekend right now, though, in Pleasant Valley Sunday land. Where there's a TV in every room, and we're proud our roses are in bloom. 😁 Actually, something's up with my roses this year, and I don't know what it is. I've dwelt in the loose palace of exile that is suburbia for a few years now, playing strange games with the roses of the island. And I still dunno how to take care of them. 😂

Well the Wings video was just for the halibut. Nuttin' to see there. I hadn't seen the John and Dudley Moore film before. Snow-White and Rose-Reden.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow-White_and_Rose-Red"This story is not related to the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "Snow White" that provided the basis for the 1937 Walt Disney animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. ""Snow-White and Rose-Red are two little girls living with their mother, a poor widow, in a small cottage by the woods. Snow-White is quiet and shy and prefers to spend her time indoors, doing housework and reading. Rose-Red is outspoken, lively and cheerful, and prefers to be outside. They are both very good girls.... "(cough)

So now we know why Snow White is on the cover of the Sgt Pepper album, right? (She's above the "B". )

So now we know why Snow White is on the cover of the Sgt Pepper album, right? (She's above the "B". ) So from the story you put up, Snow White prefers to spend her time indoors, while Rose Red goes outdoors. Reminds me of some song lyrics. You stay home, she goes out. Missing things and kept out of sight? Needing a place to hide away? But Rose Red is seen and outspoken. Maybe too outspoken? There is now a red rose over her mouth (Red Rose speedway). And the one who stays out of sight (Snow White), appearing right over the Letter B? Gotta be a reason for this. Of course, this is a German tale. Shocker.

There will be times when all the things she said will fill your head You won't forget her Sir Paul shows you by his album cover that he is "Rose Red". He is outspoken, lively and cheerful, and prefers to be seen. (Doll standing in front of the TV on Pepper) Paul (JPM) is the one who stays out of sight. Presumably Sir Paul has the blessing of Paul, as shown by the palm (Paul M) shown over his head. ( ♫ It's something I think is worthwhile if the puppet makes you smile ♫ ). Like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Snow White and Rose red look "identical" (like Sir Paul and JPM) In my opinion, the opening line of "How Do You Sleep?" only makes sense if addressed to a living Paul. "So Sgt Pepper took you by surprise!" It would not have come as a surprise to Sir Paul, who, after-all, was intimately involved with its creation. "A pretty face may last a year or two But pretty soon they'll see what you can do" Paul left the group and took on an identity as a woman. How does it feel, how does it feel? Took on the identity of a woman, or became a woman and not of his own volition? I wrote this before somewhere, but the song While My Guitar Gently Weeps talks about someone becoming a woman. Referring to someone being inverted and perverted, without first being alerted. These lyrics have to mean something. I believe the Beatles were multiples from the start. However, that doesn't preclude something truly awful having indeed happened,...to some person or persons along the way. And not to get into the Jeni Crowley thing again, there are the Men Without Hats lyrics from Pop Goes the World. About a Johnny who played guitar and a Jenny who played bass. First they wanted to see themselves in a magazine. Then they got smart it seemed, they figured they could make more money on a movie screen. No, I don't really believe these lyrics are telling a Beatle story. Just coincidental. And there are no big coincidences, only coincidences!!!! (Seinfeld episode). 😁 But I do agree, so many songs written about PID. I am starting to believe that some were written by prophet-artists (designated). And others written by artists who are passing down Beatle stories they've heard through their associations in the music business, just as good stories are always passed down through generations.

But the question remains: Can music save your mortal soul? I'm thinking maybe "yes". with a little help from our friends Well, you mention Doris Day here. And I'm the one who brought up 80s music. So there is this from Wham's Wake me Up, Before you Go-Go. "You take the grey skies out of my way, You make the sun brighter than Doris Day". So, here's our sun worship. And here's Doris Day. And yes, the 'on the day I die, I'd like stories to be told' stuff is what I meant when I said it's possible artists continue to tell stories they've heard second and third hand about the GOAT band. I know I would if I were a song writer today and heard such interesting stories through industry contacts. It would make for some great artistic fodder. Why not? I'd give them something to talk about. A little mystery to figure out. But I don't think that applies to artists like Dylan. I believe some artists actually DID know things, and served as prophets, so to speak. Back to Baker Street: But you know he'll always keep movin' You know he's never gonna stop movin' 'Cause he's rollin', he's the rolling stone When you wake up, it's a new mornin' The sun is shinin', it's a new mornin' You're goin', you're goin' home A rolling stone gathers no moss. So he's never gonna stop movin'. The Rolling Stones still tour, at their age. They never stop moving. But a Paul becoming a member of the Rolling Stones? With photo evidence that appears to suggest that some guys at the time were playing shell games with their identities, I wouldn't automatically discount the notion. But which Rolling Stone could he have become, and when? I even played around in my head at some point that maybe a Paul joined up with Steppenwolf when they gained a new bass player in 1967, I believe. But I dismissed the idea pretty quickly. Nicely framed first or second editions of the Doors - Sparrow (first name of Steppenwolf) promo posters are worth money now. Then, of course, there's the Doors The Changeling lyrics. I had money, and I had none Well I'm the air you breath The food you eat Friends you greet, in the sullen street You gotta see me change See me change Yeah, I'm leaving town On a midnight train Gotta see me change Change, change, change.....These lyrics having appeared on the final album, I just thought Jim was talking about leaving the Doors. But who knows? Jim was known to talk about two or three stories at once, weaving them all into one song, prose or poem. These lyrics were also written after Jim's visit to Meet the Beatles. Yep, I'm all over the place with these song lyrics now. From the 60s, 70s, through to the 80s and beyond. 😁

End up in some disco dancing all night & day.
Ah, here's what I mean about 80s songs instructing us to "Dance I said". Don't worry about whether the world is right. Just dance. And what are you thinking about this little Johnny and Jenny story, Letter B? Spell it out buddy. 😁 The line about making more money on a movie screen puts me in mind of the Paul interview with Frost. Where Frost asks him about his (the Beatles) ambitions. He answers about getting a hit record, going to America, making a film. Johnny and Jenny wanted to play guitar and bass, then see themselves in a magazine, then go into film. "Pop Goes the World", does sound like world-wide Beatlemania. Kinda fits, I guess. If someone was aware of the Jeni Crowley stuff. But that's a stretch and a half. The part about sending someone to the doctor is also a curious lyric, though. It kinda works if we consider Doctor Ben to be code for Doctor Bob (or Doctor Robert). Six, seven, eight and nine is ten. Ten Beatles, then we can send Al's Gunn to see Doctor Ben? After that visit, Al's Gunn is shooting blanks, if he even still has a gun. "Every little nest needs a bird". Bird, possibly referring to the British slang for the American slang- chicks (girls). After the doctor's visit, this little nest has its bird. And the part about nobody being able to "take their place" (try as they might), is peculiar. Yeah, I know I brought this little song up to begin with. Said I didn't think this story was Beatle-related but coincidental. Now, though, oh, umm, I dunno....

If I was on the fence about Kiss, Men Without Hats are a "dead" cert. That live performance of Safety Dance in 1985 was one of their last. According to setlist.fm they don't perform live again until 1988 and I haven't found any footage of that yet. The album Pop Goes The World comes out in 1987, so they are not immediately taking it on the road. Sketchy.
They got replaced between 1985 and 1987. The new guy doesn't move like Doroschuk the lead singer, nor does his voice have the same power. The lyrics to PGTW can be filed under "crap that doppelgänger replacements sing about"

Neil Young too. Neil Young - The Last Trip To Tulsayoutu.be/EC82ewG-Qu0?t=451 shneizah Dec 5, 2011 I (Tweedle Dee) was chopping down a palm tree When a friend (Tweedle dum) dropped by to ask If I would feel less lonely If he helped me swing the axe. I said: No, it's not a case of being lonely We have here, I've been working on this palm tree (Paul M tree)For eighty seven years I said: No, it's not a case of being lonely We have here, I've been working on this palm tree For eighty seven years He said: Go get lost! And walked towards his Cadillac. I chopped down the palm tree And it landed on his back. -------Now what's interesting here is the 87 years. Officially Paul McCartney turns 80 next month, but as we all know from the "Fair Isle sweater" conversation Paul has in Magical Mystery Tour when he's talking to the lady on the bus, he (Faul) is actually five years older than Paul, so he (Tweedle Dum) will really be 85. In two years he will be 87, at which point - according to this song - the Paul M tree avenges itself and the "friend" presumably passes on. So, the way I see it, Faul passes away in two years. Unfortunately, so do the rest of us - pretty much - when a solar flare bakes the earth and our technology, according to Dolly Safran . Of course, that may not happen, and of course there's always hope of deliverance. Hope Of Deliverance - Paul McCartney - 1993 [HQ]youtu.be/HmoJOi4ewQ4 ------ Soy Lalo Robles Dec 5, 2011 Hmm.. Last trip to Tulsa. Have anything to do with this theme from Three Dog Night (Spain, Oklahoma, Arizona, England)? Well, I've never been to Spain (Daniel sure did, he'd been there enough - Elton John - as had Tara Browne's widow, I believe) But I kinda like the music Say the ladies are insane there And they sure now how to use it They don't abuse it Never gonna lose it I can't refuse it
Well, I've never been to England But I kinda like the Beatles Well, I headed for Las Vegas Only made it out to Needles
Well, I've never been to heaven But I've been to Oklahoma Oh, they tell me I was born there But I really don't remember So, are these locale references a big fat coincidence? Maybe. But still looking through consistent themes in music. Three Dog Night's eight album (8 - the number of eternity), being Seven Separate Fools. Seven members of Three Dog Night, the "fool" symbology in the eighth album. It occurs to me that there may be more themes to examine with this band.
